For those who have frequented the Florida Panhandle for years, you already know that a Destin vacation isn't complete without a visit to the quaint beachside towns of the Beaches of South Walton.
There's Dune Allen, Santa Rosa, Blue Mountain, Grayton, Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove, Watersound, Seacrest, Alys, Rosemary and Inlet beaches, each of which has their own unique architecture and feel.
Today I visited Seaside, where The Truman Show (the 1998 movie featuring Jim Carrey) was filmed. There were snow-cone vendors, a pizza bar and sandwich shop right by the beach!
There were even kayakers enjoying today's surf.
