Pine Ridge is situated on the highest ridge of the beachside in the beautiful Sandestin Resort. Beach access is less than a mile away, and this condo is minutes away from the best shopping and restaurants you can find! In a spectacularly beautiful setting overlooking the Baytowne Golf Course you are also steps away from the intimate community pool. This condo is beautifully decorated and boasts travertine throughout the living area, and new carpet in the bedrooms. It is located at the foot of several short flights of stairs, and upon entering you will have the feeling of being right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and plenty of room for you to cook delicious meals for you and your family. There is a flat screen TV in the living room, a plush sectional couch (which pulls out into a queen sofa sleeper), a wet bar, and even a desk and wireless internet to catch up on your work if needed. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the master bathroom is pure luxury with a jetted jacuzzi tub and an oversized walk in shower. The second and third bedrooms have a king and 2 twins, each with its own bathroom. Outside on the patio, there is seating for 6, a small portable grill and a beautiful view of the golf course lagoon. You will thoroughly enjoy staying in this beautiful condo!

The place was spotless and so clean! We loved all the space that this place had to offer! We cooked every meal in the kitchen! We even loved how the place overlooked the lake and golf course! The destin getaways office was very helpful, nice and easy to work with. We got into Florida 2 hours early and they let us check in early. It was great to start relaxing! It was great and such a relaxing place for us to spend. Thanks for letting us stay and enjoy our trip!
The condo was very nice and had a "homey feeling" to it. The staff at the realty office was extremely helpful. :-) I would definitely recommend this location to others.
Incredible weekend, very nice condo at a great price. We are planning to make this a once or twice a year event and would love to stay at the same location. Adele provided exceptional service. We could not have been happier.
We loved this condo. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. There were three bedrooms, three baths and a kitchen that was complete with all appliances and utensils. We especially enjoyed the George Foreman grill. It was located very close to the beach, Silver Sands Shopping Oulet and the Baytowne Wharf. We had a great time. This condo is located at the foot of several short flights of stairs and I would not recommend it for the elderly or handicap. The beach is also located about 1.5 miles away. We enjoyed the walk but others may not. Also one of the king bedrooms had a bathroom that could not be entered from the bedroom while the other two had bathrooms within the room area. Also please add instructions of where to take out the trash on departing; we had to ask the guard who told us to place the trash by the road and someone would pick it up.
We would definetely recommend this particular house for our friends.family to stay in. It had all the kitchen appliances/utensils that we needed to make our meals.
The condo was absolutely beautiful and the amenities were great. We watched the gorgeous full moon setting over the pond. We liked everything about it with the exception of not being able to rent chairs or umbrellas at the beach(not for any price). We would rent this again!!
We really enjoyed the stay in Florida. The vacation home was beautiful. It was so peaceful to open the glass doors and see the golf course. Everyone was very nice. The only thing that was disappointing was that the walk to the beach was not a short one. We actually had to drive. But other than that we loved it.
Let me start off by saying that the house is beautiful as was the resort. The house was designed so that the master suite can be shut off from the rest of the house. The worked out really well since we were sharing the house with some friends and their childrent. The house is very nicely decorated, offers comfortable beds, very roomy showers, large closets and let's not forget the jetted tub in the master suite bathroom. It also overlooks the 13th tbox of the golf course with a nice pond there for fishing. We really enjoyed the time that we spent inside the house. Getting to the house and parking were our only issue. We have stayed at this resort in various houses for the last five years. We had never stayed on the beach side until this trip. When trying to turn to go to this house, you have to enter the gate and take an immediate left....I mean IMMEDIATE. In order to turn left, you must wait on the oncoming traffic, which can be quite heavy depending upon the time of day, as well as bikers, walkers and golf carts as there is a sidewalk/golf cart path crossing the street that you are entering. We found this to be very stressful as both the street and sidewalk/golf cart path were very busy. Once you get on to the street it is very congested with cars since there is only room to park one to two vehicles in the driveway. If you are sharing this house with another couple who have their own car, you are forced to either park in the street or one car behind the other. If the car in front needs to leave, you are shuffling cars...not very convenient. Once you get inside the house, all of these stresses just disappear....until you have to leave and come back again.
The home was beautiful. I was disapointed because I was told the home was a 2 minute walk to the beach. That is why I rented it. The walk ended up being 15 minutes. When I called the rental agency on Friday afternoon to have this discrepancy explained to me, I was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone. The description also indicated we had use of BBQ grills, but there were none on our property. We were pleased that the unit was pet friendly.
This home was so warm and inviting. Lots of room to spread out. Having a fully equipt kitchen, large furnished patio, plenty of closet and drawer space, makes this rental stand out from so many others! It has a convenient location to everything on the resort. We walked everywhere. Well kept street that was pretty quiet. The only thing that was not clear to us was that this is a "garden" level home. Twenty stairs to walk down to enter this lovely home. Not a problem for us but it should be stated. Overall we were spoiled, loved it!
I had a business trip in Destin that week. I decided to treat my 3 sons, daughter in law and granddaughter to Christmas in September. Along with our family, my fiance,(which is my husband now), and his daughter came along with our baby Yorkie. This Thompson's Villa was absolutely wonderful. I spent 1 day in meeting, and skipped the rest to spend with our family. My granddaughter, finance, and his daughter had never been to the beach. What a vacation. Best family vacation in many years. My three sons are all grown now, but we had a blast playing rummy on the veranda during a tropical storm. Shopping and restaurants were devine. We do plan to go back someday, soon I hope. The place was very nice. It was not your typical rental home. I would highly recommend staying here. It conveniently placed on the beach side, so it is easy to get to the beach. And it is easy to get to Baytown or the golf courses.
Our family went to Sandestin for a conference and decided to rent this property instead of a few rooms at the resort hotel. The accomodations were perfect for our family, allowing us the space and peacefullness that we needed during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to stay on the resort property in Sandestin but not in a hotel or highrise.
