The condo was great. The sleeping facilities were very nice....better than 2 singles in the spare bedroom. The living room furniture might need to be upgraded in the near future as it was showing signs of decay. Having the ability to rent movies was great but the DVD player did not have a remote and therefore did not work as we could not play a movie. Do not place too much emphasis on these criticisms as we thought the condo was very nice. Thanks for the opportunity to share this beautiful condo.
Edgewater is a wonderful property! It's family-friendly environment is relaxing and energetic at the same time. The grounds are clean and there's plenty to do. The location of Edgewater is great! It's close to the very nice outlet mall (directly across the street) and in close proximity to several local golf courses. Since I booked this rental through a realty company (instead of directly through Edgewater), I had no idea the beach chairs/umbrella would cost money. Last year, when I booked at this location directly through Edgewater, I didn't have that fee. That's a bit of information that would be very useful for renters to know. And if chairs and an umbrella aren't included, info on where to find them (i.e. owner's closet, local surf store, etc) would be good info, too. We had an overall great stay! Thank you!
Crye-Leike's personnel was great. They were very accomodating. The room and view were awesome. The room was comfortable and roomy. We loved the two pools and hot tub and are looking forward to staying there again. The only problem we had was the pool passes, we never received any.
This property was in great condition. Convenient to everything yet out of the hairy traffic further down scenic 98.Grocery store,bank,pharmacy,places to eat directly across the street. Unit was decorated up to date and had a big kitchen. Some friends stayed in a unit a few doors down and were not happy. Their unit had not been updated in at least 20 years and even smelled like it. Our balcony was great, it had 2 sets of wrought iron pub style tables and chairs and a lounge chair. Our balcony was the favorite hangout, very roomy and a great view. The master bed was comfy and also a great view. The second bedroom was great for us because it had a double bed and a twin. The property was and always felt safe. The one pool was heated and the workout room had better equiptment than our gym.The underground parking was a great plus when it would rain or the sun was scorching. We would go again and have already told our friends about it. Great deal in the heart of things.
This trip was taken by myself with my 5 kids ..my first christmas time with my kids since the divorce...I have a 5 yr old..11 yr. old..13 yr old...14 yr old and a 17.5 yr old...the condo was perfect for all of us to be comfortable..we all loved the gigantic balcony with the side view of the ocean,played board games and ate out there alot...the pools were heated thus taking away my worries about the kids swimming in cold water..the 4 girls even got some SUN tanning in around the pool and took many pictures for there my-space pages ...T.V.s were great and the location was right by the outlet stores...also LOVED the free movie rental program from the grocery store....Had no problems and feel the place is kept up very well........will be back......
My family and i took a last minute, week before school started back vacation and loved it. The Condo was gorgeous, very clean, well kept and had a huge balcony w/ a great view of the pools and ocean. My daughter loved going hermit crab hunting at night and swimming during the day. We will definately return next year.
The condo was very nice with a great view of the beach. The location was perfect - close to the beach, restaurants & stores. We went the 1st week of November & had the beach to ourselves! We enjoyed everything about it & would stay there again.
This was the first time my family and I had been to Destin Fl. We had a wonderful time staying at the Edgewater Beach 703. The condo was nicely decorated and the view was just wonderful. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home. My children loved the pool and my husband and I loved stay right on the beach. We selected this particular property because of the spacious condo and the many ammenities of the place. We would definitely stay her again.
