Aloha!
Located on the beachside of Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, Luau is a pair of newly constructed high-rises with a Polynesian flare.
The Luau entry foyer arouses visions of the South Pacific, with its slate flooring and bamboo and rattan ceiling.
The lush tropical landscaping of the Luau pool vicinity celebrates the spirit of the Polynesian Islands. Water cascades down from volcanic rocks into the 4,000 square foot saltwater pool; jets of water gush up from the kiddy pool creating a fountain that is sure to entertain the kids; and the bubbling hot tub invites those who seek a warm, therapeutic jacuzzi. Don’t forget to grab a frozen margarita or strawberry daiquiri and a tasty sandwich from the poolside tiki bar (seasonal).
As you probably know, a luau is a traditional Hawaiian feast featuring delicious eats from the South Pacific. We strongly recommend that you have your own luau at Luau, but with a touch of Destin! The onsite family BBQ facility features stainless steel gas grills... perfect for grilling your favorite cut of meat from Publix or those fillets from the grouper you caught earlier out in the Gulf.
Don’t forget about the sunset deck! Located on the 11th floor of Tower 2, the sunset deck offers spellbinding panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico, Baytowne Golf Course and the renowned Sandestin coastline.
Ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes and free weights await those who want to take advantage of the onsite Luau fitness center, which is conveniently located on the ground floor of Tower 2.
Luau 7027 is located on the 10th floor of Tower 2 and offers unforgettable eastern views of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony and master bedroom. This unit is elegantly decorated with furnishings fit for King Kamehameha himself. The kitchen features marble countertops, black appliances and a breakfast bar.
Check out the aerial photo by clicking on “All Photos” and you will see that Luau Tower 2 is located very close to the beach - about a 2 minute stroll away.
When you stay at the Luau, you will be ensured Kaiolohia... which means “tranquil peace of mind” in Hawaiian. It really doesn't get much better than this.
The condo was conveniently located near the beach and the Hilton where we participated in a convention. The pool was a plus for our two school-aged children. The condo had all the amenities that we needed- the keyed lock on the door takes some fiddling with to get it to work. My recollection is that you need to turn the key hard to the right to get it to open. For an extended stay, don't forget to bring extra toliet paper, you only get one complimentary roll!
Wow , what a Great time we had , loved the room , the location , the pool , and the short walk to the beach was even pleasent ! Whitney and Charlotte were both really cool and helpful ! Can't wait to do it all over again !!!
The Luau was spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beach wasn't far and the location was conveinent to panama city as well as pensacola! This is a vacation you would really enjoy if you like to relax and not be disturbed by the hustle and bustle of spring break!
Stayed at the Luau and was plesantly surprised. We stayed for 7 nights and the trip was fantastic. Our condo at the Luau was clean and very comfortable. My only complaint is that we didnt receive any linen or towel service since we rented from a private owner. Would definitely stay there again! Awesome beaches and the pool and grilling area are awesome. We cooked out 3 nights and ate by the pool.
Zero instructions on entry to the complex. Where and how to park. Gate codes. When we did find the Valet carts there were only 2 for a 12 story building? Yada, yada, yada. We were expecting so much more.
We give all of our guest directions to the complex with detailed instructions. There is a code on your directions for the gate. Once you pull in it clearly states where to park. There is no valet at any of the condos. I apologize for the misunderstanding but we make sure all of the codes etc are listed right there for you.
Stayed here for a convention and really loved it. Everything was nice, especially the view of the coastline towards Panama City. Wish I had brought binoculars! Will definately try to stay here again.
We ended up staying in the exact same unit on the 4th floor because they told us our unit was having AC problems. It was extremely clean and spacious. You could see the Gulf from the balcony, but it wasn't the best view. The pool at this condo is great. My kids loved the waterfall. The walk to the beach isn't too bad. The unit furnished beach chairs and toys for my kids, which was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint would be that it didn't come with the Sandestin aminity card (which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking). If you're down at the beach and need to use the restroom, you have to have the card to use the restroom. You also need the Sandestin card to ride the shuttle bus over to the Village and rent the kayaks & bikes free of charge. Other than that, I have no complaints. It's a great place to stay.
My wife and I were looking for a one bedroom condo on the beach. We visited the local Crye-Leike Coastal Realty office and decided on the Sandestin Luau. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and our overall stay. Our room was very spacious and large enough for our needs. We will definitely be back.
Place was very clean, very comfortable. It felt like home especially with all the amenities that were available and how close everything was off-site.
