The Luau entry foyer arouses visions of the South Pacific, with its slate flooring and bamboo and rattan ceiling.
The lush tropical landscaping of the Luau pool vicinity celebrates the spirit of the Polynesian Islands. Water cascades down from volcanic rocks into the 4,000 square foot saltwater pool; jets of water gush up from the kiddy pool creating a fountain that is sure to entertain the kids; and the bubbling hot tub invites those who seek a warm, therapeutic jacuzzi. Don’t forget to grab a frozen margarita or strawberry daiquiri and a tasty sandwich from the poolside tiki bar (seasonal).
As you probably know, a luau is a traditional Hawaiian feast featuring delicious eats from the South Pacific. We strongly recommend that you have your own luau at Luau, but with a touch of Destin! The onsite family BBQ facility features stainless steel gas grills... perfect for grilling your favorite cut of meat from Publix or those fillets from the grouper you caught earlier out in the Gulf.
Don’t forget about the sunset deck! Located on the 11th floor of Tower 2, the sunset deck offers spellbinding panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico, Baytowne Golf Course and the renowned Sandestin coastline.
Ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes and free weights await those who want to take advantage of the onsite Luau fitness center, which is conveniently located on the ground floor of Tower 2.
Luau 6728 is located on the 7th floor of Tower 2 and offers unforgettable eastern views of the Gulf of Mexico from the living room and master bedroom. This unit is elegantly decorated with furnishings fit for King Kamehameha himself. The kitchen features marble countertops, black appliances and a breakfast bar.

When you stay at the Luau, you will be ensured Kaiolohia... which means “tranquil peace of mind” in Hawaiian. It really doesn't get much better than this.

My husband and I stayed here on our first vacation to Destin, Florida. It was very nice and neat and a good location. I did not realize you had to walk across the road to get to the beach so that was a little disappointing, and when we arrived our armoire was broken in the master bedroom and walls looked like they could've been repainted. It was a very nice, clean room it could've used a few minor things like wiping finger prints off walls and fixing the furniture but it really was a great value. We would def consider staying here again!
Stayed for a weekend in October. Used Crye-Leike Coastal Realty to book it and they were very helpful. Resort was dead which was nice, saw like two people the whole time we were there. The room was very nice, bed was comfy, balcony view was great. Only problem is when we tried to ride the tram and the driver was a huge jerk. Didnt use any of the amenities just went to the beach and the pool. The location was great a 2 minute walk to the beach.
The room was clean and close to the beach. Its close enough to Hwy 98 and we were able to drive anywhere we needed. We would recommend staying here.
myself and my 14 year old and 8 year old stayed there in july and we loved it. we usually go to orange beach, panama or gulf shores every year. this was our first year going to destin and staying at the luau and we agreed that it was the best vacation ever. the condo was very neat,clean, we felt very safe there being without my husband for the first time on vacation. i will be going back next year.
We enjoyed our stay in Luau II. This was our second time staying on the Sandestin property, and we had a great vacation. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer handy was perfect for our family. The condo was clean & nicely decorated, but some of the furniture did show a little wear & tear. One other note is we did not stay on the 10th floor unit as described in the online ad we responded to. Luau II's location allows you to park the car and walk to the beach! Crye-Leike's additional amentities are great add-ons to the vacation package! We took advantage of the free movie rentals when our weather included a tropical storm.
It all was fine. But the information sent to us on hpow to get to the propert was confusing. And the rules like you are staying at this unit therefore you can not rent these beach chairs or play golf. All that was very confusing. mcampbell
I apologize if the directions were confusing. You are not able to use the beach chairs but we do offer free golf daily at 3 different golf courses and one course is actually located on the Sandestin Resort for your convenience
