This is a Beach Resort at its finest. It has the most private balcony in the Destin area. You will enjoy the numerous amenities, such as tennis, swimming, strolling on the beach, the Gulf side snack bar, or playing golf at a nearby course. This condo is located in the Sandestin area.
Excellent condo and the view was terrific, would definately stay again. The price is a little steep, but the condo was completely updated. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
While the view was amazing, the condo is in need of several repairs. Maintenance responded quickly when called, but we tired of spending our vacation contacting maintenance. A list was provided to them when we left, and perhaps they will be quickly addressed. However, for the same price, I always received condos with internet and telephone. This had neither at the owners request, so will not change. Perhaps not a problem for a week, but difficult for a six week stay with elderly parents.
We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. It is definitely not our intention for you to spend one second of your time worrying about maintenance issues. Sometimes the maintenance is unavoidable but we always try and take care of the situation immediately. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know your concerns.
I was very happy with this condo and the condition it as in. Beautifully furnished and gorgeous kitchen. The only problem we experienced during our stay is the loud sliding glass doors from this condo as well as all others surrounding this unit. You could hear doors opening and closing at all hours of the day and night. The pool also closed at 10 p.m., however, college students would sneak in after hours and be loud at night. Since you were only on the 2nd floor, the pool noise was loud. Beautiful views from the balcony and the short walk to the ocean was perfect. I would definately stay there again.
Service was good. Condo was ok. Terrible view, large dune in front of balcony. We were on second floor and had no view of beach, only a large dune. Balcony was directly over pool with loud children. Upon arrival the a/c was not working. Left message with Cyre Leike and repairman arrived the next morning and completed repairs promptly. Guest bedroom was advertised with TV/dvd but did not have either, TV was in room but there was no cable outlet for connection, this is very important when you have two teenagers. Ice maker in refrigerator did not work, had to buy ice. Mattresses in master bedroom are terrible, recommend replacing them immediately. Condo was nicely decorated and grounds well kept. This is not the condo I booked, it had clear and unobstructed view of beach. We were moved to this condo by Crye Leike. I prefer to stay in Destin, not SandDestin. If I had known about the view and location I would have asked for another condo or cancelled my vacation. I do regret my he
I do apologize the condo was not of your satisfaction and unfortunately we have no control on how the Dunes grow but do again apologize your view was not what you expected. I?m happy to hear your maintenance issues were promptly fixed. I again apologize the mattresses were not up to your standards and we will do everything in our power to replace them as soon as possible. We do hope you vacation with us again in the Destin area as you prefer where your view is not unobstructed and can enjoy the scenery.
It was just as represented in the photos. We had a great time. I do want to make you aware that the seal on the potty in the guest bathroom is broken. The potty wobbles when you sit on it. I'm not telling you this as a complain. I own a second home, so I thought the owner would like to know so they can repair it before it starts leaking and causes damage. Also, two of us were stuck in the foot by exposed carpet tacks where the carpet transitions between the dining room and kitchen. I placed a thick rug over the tacks, so we wouldn't step on them any more. That worked pretty well. Again, it wasn't a big deal, except I would want to know if I owned the place so I could get it repaired. The location was great and the service from Crye Leike couldn't have been better.
