Great location over looking the gulf and beach, but the furnishings was liking, the coutch was broken down and very unconfortable, several lamps was not working, but we were able to work all throug that because the rate was so favorible. Crye-Leike Costal Realty are great people to work with, We look forward to working with them again on our next vacation to Destin. We stayed a month in this unit 12/14/09 to 01/14/10
I had previously stayed in a one bedroom in Beachside two and it was bigger, nicer, better maintained, and had a much better view than the two bedroom condo in Beachside 1. I will not stay in Beachside 1 again.
The condo was spacious and very comfortable. The amenities were great. The pool was wonderful. The condo was only a few steps away from the beach. It was convenient to everything. We spent alot of time at the Baytowne Wharf and visited all of those wonderful shops. I liked the closeness to the beach the best and all of the room we had in the condo. My least favorite was that there were twin beds in the guest room, but I knew this beforehand. I would have preferred a queen size bed. I love that there was a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. It was a five star wxperience and we are already discussing our next trip!
Service was great; even though check in was for 4pm we received a call at 1:30pm to advise that our unit was ready if we wanted to check in. The unit was wonderful...granite countertops in kitchen and bath, lots of room. There were beach chairs and loungers in the closet...we have usually had to spend extra money to rent these on the beach so this was a great surprise. Perfect location and close to shops, restaurants, etc. We took advantage of the free adult admission to the nearby waterpark which saved us $50! We cannot wait to stay again and will use Crye-Leike for any future Destin rentals...we don't even want to look at another condo...this one was perfect.
Condo #4039 is outdated and needs to be brightened and made more attractive. It is very dark and the furniture is not Florida style whatsoever. The cabinets were old, paint very dark, bedroom carpeting a brown, dated shag, headboard on twin bed was broken, front door knob is ready to fall out of the door, lightbulbs were not working, the bed sheets did not fit the king bed very well and the bedskirt and spread were dirty, the draperies in the master did not close and we had to use a paper clip to prevent the sun from shining in early in the morning (they also need to be replaced or cleaned), the AC is cold in the front bedroom and warm in the master bedroom area. The condo could be made more attractive and pleasant to stay in if it were updated and made more current in decorating. We felt it was overpriced for the first week in August. The location is ideal and we will book at another complex in the area. The pool needs to be renovated, but the access to the beach is perfect. The staff
Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback and your comments are very important to us. The condo was professionally decorated by a local high end furniture store West Indies style. The condo is decorated with over size plush furniture and calm colors. A lot of the guests are looking for a home away from home when visiting and this is more decorated in that direction. The cabinets are painted in an antique white and the carpet is only two years old. Rentals stir more towards a brownish color because of the use of the condos. Our prices are very low compared to a lot of other rental companies. We try and stay competitive. Sandestin is a beautiful place with beautiful condos. Thanks, Management
It has a good location. The unit AC is too cool in the 2nd bedroom and too warm in the master bedroom.
This was our family's 1st trip to Sandestin. We enjoyed the area and activities and time away with our family. Big dissappointment with the rental for the price. Multiple pieces of furniture had knobs missing or broken,peeling paint on some walls, a tv in one room had a huge hole through the top (but it did work), had to go to purchase kitchen towels because only one was available for dishes for our 6 day stay, when we went down to the beach on our first morning there we were told that we were not allowed to rent the beach chairs or kayaks/parasailing because the realty does not participate with their ammentity program (so we packed up our beach things and left to purchase lounge chairs and umbrella for our stay). Also we got a call to ask if the rental could be shown to someone interested in purchase (this was a long awaiting vaction to relax and we didn't think it was fair -we would have to pick up all of our things and allow them to come to show it-we chose to refuse unfortunately a
Our goal is for you to have a nice place to stay on the beach and we are very sorry you didn't like the condo. The TV in the guest room did have a small hole in the top of it and it has been replaced with a new flat screen. The guest bathroom did have some paint peeling that has been taken care of. You have to stay with Sandestin to be able to us those amenities that is why we offer free movie rental, free golf in the resort,water park tickets, and fishing trip everyday when you stay with us and our rates are 35% less than Sandestin. This condo has great reviews from many guest I'm truely sorry you didn't enjoy it.
We went thru Crye leike coastal realty thru destin vacation getaways and were mislead into thinking this was gulfront.We were very disappointed to find this a end unit with a side view of the beach with 3 palm trees blocking what little view we did have.once we got over the trmendous intial diappointment we did have a good time.2nd bedroom and bathroom smaller then we are used to in a 2 bedroom unit.The free golf for one person was a great deal and was easy to use.Overall was a nice place but felt very misled with the view,it was our worst nighmare to have a side view and trees blocking our view!Had to go next door hotel to use grill and were told they had one.We were also told we couls access the shuttle for a minimal fee but but were told at the hotel you needed a pass provided by the unit owner and never got one.Was told money was never accepted,only passes by the condo owner. hgw2vz4u Crey leike is a good realty company but obviously can use improvement but I would recommend the
Beachside One is a Gulf Front end unit and is closer to the Gulf than a lot of other buildings. Photo's of all our rental units are on our website because we want all of our guest to see where they are staying before they arrive. In order to ride the tram you must stay with Sandestin and pay about $3000.00 per week or you can stay with us for $1895.00 you do the math.
Was a good place to stay. Had a nice view of the ocean and plenty of space. Was able to take my dog with me and he enjoyed it also.
We were very pleased from the time we got to the property. The resort itself was very nice and the property was beautiful and very convenient. It was perfect for my family of 5.
We loved staying at Sandestin, as it had been many years since we stayed there. Loved being able to ride bikes around the property and take walks. The unit was very nice and was nicely decorated. The kitchen is updated with granite countertops and stainless appliances. It's located at the end of a hallway so it was very quiet. Short walk to the beach. It was a great vacation!
Really well equiped and decorated condo. Golf games were great. Only drawback was no motorcycles allowed, and of course some prefer that.
The condo was very spacious. The deck overlooking the water was great. Views were incredible. I would recommend this unit.
