Serenity is a charming cottage located on the Gulf Side of Miramar Beach. The 3 bedroom 3 bath cottage can sleep up to 8 guests. It is located just a short walk from the Gulf and refreshing community pool. Excellent shops and restaurants are within minutes from the neighborhood. Serenity Cottage is in an ideal location whether you are looking to relax or enjoy the activities that Destin has to offer. The house was amazing for a vacation home, however we never found the pool. Customer service assumed we were familiar with the grounds and were no help in that area at all. Instead of showing us the pool we were given vague directions. With the amount of money spent you would have thought they would have assured complete satisfaction. However the beach is than a mile from the property.
My husband and I traveled with our five grandchildren and family dog arriving at Serenity Memorial weekend. Four of the grandkids are teenagers and one 5 year old. Plenty of room. The wrap around porch was my husband and mines favorite spot. Always a nice breeze. Kitchen was nice since I cooked dinners, but it could be a little better stocked with cooking needs. The 3 bathrooms were great. A/C worked wonderfully. Must have a great hot water system because we never ran out of hot water with 3 showers going, washer and dishwasher. Could have been a little more generous with the number of towels and kitchen towels. About a block walk to the beach, was not bad at all. Grocery store about block away so the older grandkids made several walking trips to get milk, bread,etc. Couple of beach stores within walking distance and the kids made a couple trips there. Place was clean, but they need to provide a dustpan and a mop. We were pleased and would come back to Serenity again.
We loved the cottage it was so cute and clean I would love to come back and stay again. The decoration was so pretty. It is so close to the beach. It was a great neighborhood quite and clean. I would recommend this to anyone.
The cottage was fine. Everything worked well and it was comfortable. My only problem was that I was never clear on where the community pool was located. We used the pool located between the tow Crye Leike properties but apparently that was a private pool for the other cottage.
Was disappointed with the experience - no pool available even when we were told there was - Windancer was the place we were told to use - but a code was needed to enter - was put on hold for over 15 minutes to be told the wrong info. so no pool access - Lack of information as to what to do with household trash - the people who answered the phones didn't have any answers and didn't know about the amenitites for the property we were staying at. Much better experience with Ocean Reef properties.

We place the trash information on your directions that you receive upon check in. The location was both close to the beach and close to attractions. The house was well maintained and we were happy with the stay overall. The house cleaning was fairly poor when we arived.
We really liked the house and would rent it again. The location is both close to the beach and close to attractions. The staff was very nice and took care of everything we needed. When we arived the overall job of the cleaning crew looked rushed and a lot was missed.
We spent a month at the home.It was very enjoyable & suited us to a tee. Access to the beach was easy, quiet & no problem. We had a couple of minor problems the first couple of days. They were quickly corrected. If we return to this area, we would not hesitate to rent the property again.
We stayed in Serenity the week of Christmas for 7 days. It is a very nice house. It was clean and well kept! The layout was great. I visited with my husband, 5 children and a small dog. The children had enough room to spread out and have their own space. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and utensils I needed to prepare Christmas dinner. All the T.V.'s had cable hook up and worked well. We loved the fact that it was maybe 7 houses away from the beach...so we could walk there. On Christmas Eve it was warm enough for the children to play in the water at the beach (although it was a little to cold for my liking). Great place to go for a "non-traditional" Christmas. Instead of white snow, we had white sand! My only complaint was that instead of a trash service picking up our garbage in front of the house (as our paperwork stated it would), we had to walk the trash can all the way down the road to a dumpster at the end of the street then lift the thing to empty it into
This is a very nice, colorful and spacious home. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms which makes it a great place for couples or families. It also has wonderful decks off the bedrooms to sit and enjoy the breeze. The best is the A/C, it really works well!!! We were very cool as we slept at night and that's very important! It's close enough to walk to the beach and it's very close to the Outlet mall if you are a shopper. Next time we will stay longer.
This was the second year we stayed at this exact house. We love the close proximity to the beach, shopping, food, and fun. The price for this cottage is excellent comparatively. I would recommend this house to a group of no more than 6, as it's a little cozy. The only problem we had was the AC unit seamed a little slow to cool down the house. Once it got cooled ( a few hours ) it was OK. Overall, we would stay again and may this coming year.
