Located in a charming gated community of only 23 houses, Cottage Row is the perfect Destin getaway for the avid beach goer. This house is just a short stroll away from the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Cottage Row is tastefully decorated with vibrant furniture and includes access to the large community pool, club house and exercise room.
I traveled to Destin with my girlfriends and we loved Cottage Row. It was a short walk to the beach, and right in the middle of Destin and SanDestin. The pool was great, too. There were no highrises on the beach nearby, so the beach was never over-crowded. The unit was cuter in person than in pictures. It slept 11 comfortably. We had a problem with our ice maker in the freezer, but they came out and fixed it promptly. Check in and check our were a breeze!
Cottage Row house was exactly as it was described and so much more. We had a wonderful time and would stay in this house or community again
The house and setting were great although the rental price was too high. Kind of confirmed by the amount of rentals it has had. The beach had no oil thankfully but there was green algae in the water (of course nothing you can control) so that kind of spoiled the water activities for the grandchildren. The last part of your directions to your office from I-10 were wrong in mileage; thought we might have missed the turn but it turned out it was a lot farther than what you indicated.
We really enjoyed the stay. The house was very comfortable and roomy. We had plenty of room. The house was very clean and bright, and so close to the beach. A very good location! We loved that you left games and books for us to use, as well as beach chairs. The only disappointment was not having a grill at the house, but rather having to walk to the pool to grill. A suggestion is to have some dishwashing soap on hand and more towels and toilet paper.
Our vacation was great, my family enjoy the home, and the services that was provided to us. It was the better then being in a hotel. The location & amenities was wonderful. I love the location the most, and I only have on issue he the dust in the house on the fans and behind the beds, other then that we enjoy myself. I would rent a house again.
We all had a really great time. Although not directly on the beach, the house was literally only steps away. The beach area and neighborhood area are all very family oriented.
We really enjoyed ourselves. It was a nice home away from home. It provided excellent accomodations for our entire family. We loved it and would love to stay here again. We felt safe being inside a gated community. We have young grandchildren who we could let play outside without worrying. We especially enjoyed the pool.
The house was great and in a great little subdivision. It's right across the beach. We would have loved beach views however the price for the room in this cottage was well worth the rental. The pictures matched the cottage exactly. It was very clean. We had a minor problem with the AC upon arrival but it was fixed promptly!! We would absolutely consider this same rental again in the future. It accomidates several people comfortably! The living quarters (kitchen and living room) is upstairs instead of downstairs, just something to consider if there are older people in your party. Would buy this cottage if I could afford it!! :)
