This 4 bedroom/2 bath house is located inside the Maravilla Resort which features private beach access. Enjoy the community pool and tennis courts when you stay in this fantastic house. Just Beachy is located near great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping.
Our overall experience with the property was pretty good. However, the house was very warm even with the thermostat pushed down to freezing levels; it never seemed to cool off. It was not always ideal for my family and I to go out to eat each night and with the many trips to the beach and pool, we cooked and washed and dried towels almost everyday. At times, it felt better outside than in the house. We had 3 technicians to come by to check on the unit and the majority said that the unit was very old and that the temperature in the home would probably be as cool as it was going to get. One technician came in and changed the filter which looked like it had not been changed in a year.
We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We are definitely having a pretty hot summer this year. We had the air unit looked into and all is good. The filters are changed monthly and it was scheduled to be changed any day now. This s a popular home so its usually booked and the air is usually running. Everything is good to go now and we hope you come back and see us! Thank you for your feedback.
The house was very nice. Roomy, nice decorations, fresh paint and clean. There were 2 families with 8 people and only 1 couch so we could not all sit and watch tv in the living room together. I was told the house was in Destin but when we got to the rental office and put the address in the GPS we could not find it, turns out it is in Miramar Beach not Destin. We were told the house was across the street the street from the beach. I asked if it was a busy street and was told it was a private street that ran thru the gated community. The rental office would not give us the house address in advance so we could confirm it was on the beach and not in a subdivision. This house was about 4 houses down off the HW98 and you had to walk all the way down the street to the end of the houses, thru the parking lot of the condos then cross scenic hw98 to get to the beach aprox 1/2 mile. So we felt we were misled, we chose this house as it was suppose to be on the beach not in a nighborhood. W
This house is a great place and has been freshly painted. Miramar is the name of the beach you were located on and Miramar is in fact in Destin. The home is located across the street from the beach in a gated community and is definitely walking distance. I apologized if that was not communicated correctly. We do not give out addresses to the homes because of incidents in the past. Guest will check in at the rental location and housekeeping may be in there and guest will still go in. When guest are in the home the housekeepers can not fully finish the clean so we give you the actual address and information at check in. The address on all of our information is correct. We have been at the same location for 6 years so I?m a little confused about that comment. We apologize for the misunderstanding and hope you had a good vacation. Thanks, Management
This is a great house for a family stay if you dont have small children. It is way to far away from the beach to walk and parking is a problem if you drive. It is also inconvient to visit the pool. House is beautiful and spacious great for older children who do require lots of baggage.
A GREAT location for a large family vacation! My husband and I recently married and stayed at Just Beachy for our first Family vacation with the daughters and grandchildren. I was looking for somewhere that we could also bring the dog and this fit the bill. The home is beautifully decorated (not that cheesy beach decor you find in most hotels) and came with more than enough utensils, dishes & glassware. My husband & I LOVED the master suite with our private jacuzzi tub and seperate shower. We grilled out on the grill and patio most nights, and saved a TON of money. It was a short walk to the beach and the community pool/play area was an added bonus too. We will definately come back! The only negative was the previous tenants forgot to put the trash cans out for pick up and the garage reeked when we checked in, but we called the rental comapny and they had some there to correct the situation in no time.
My family loves Destin, Fl. The house was great. The service was superb. They helped me with any questions and concerns and we did not want for anything. I definitely recommend this house or their services. I will definitely use them again.
We had a great time at just beachy. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach which was so nice...no sand in the car! Do recommend bringing extra towels/laundry detergent/soap...they provide towels, but with multiple showers and going to the beach a lot you run out quick. Also laundry detergent, so nice to be able to wash clothes!!! It was great to stay in a home with little kids, we didn't have to worry about being quiet & it was much more comfortable than a hotel. Only complaint is there were two full garbage cans that we had to look at the entire time. We called the rental co. about it but no one ever came to pick up the trash. Also there was some miscommunication with the rental company, but nothing too terrible.
We spent a wonderful 5 nights at this home.. It was a very pleasant and welcoming home. The ammenties were great! Used the swimming pool and Hot tub. Also the private beach was super! Was great for some "down time". Also had a chance to spend time with family we had not seen in a long time. The house slept 8 adults and 2 children very comfortably.
