The Amalfi Coast Resort is named after the most breathtaking coastline in southern Italy, for good reason! The property sits on 8 beautiful acres of tropical landscape. Amalfi has only 109 units, 3 stories and underground parking. It is located directly across the street from the beach, and there is even a huge pond and a bridge leading to the dune walkover. The property has 362 feet of private beach with gated beach access, 2 pools (1 heated), lighted tennis courts, and barbecue grills. Inside this condo, you will enjoy 1,360 square feet of living space with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You will have your own private balcony where you can enjoy the nice, sunny Florida weather and even catch a glimpse of the clear green Destin waters. Amalfi Coast Resort will be sure to please anyone!
We can't wait to stay here again. The location was perfect. The condo was very spacious. The views were beyond spectacular. The grounds of the condo complex were very well maintained. It was just simply a great place to stay. The only, and I mean only, problem was that the sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable. We ended up buying a air mattress to use while we were there. That wasn't enough to ruin our stay. We will be back in 2011.
Second trip to Destin but this time with two young children. We had previously stayed in an Amalfi 2 bed/2 bath with no bunks and we would definitely recommend the bunks if you have kids, they worked out great! Very nice complex overall, family friendly, quiet, 2 great pools, clean nicely furnished condominium, assigned covered parking a big plus, washer/dryer were a useful option, great views of the meticulously cared for grounds and ocean from the large balcony and superior access to the soft white sand beach. We will return to Amalfi, cannot beat the location or price.
A great place to stay if you're looking for a layed back atmosphere. All you need is your bags and food if you're inclined to cook. The scenery is as good as it gets and the facility is well kept including the pool and common areas. I think the price is outstanding for the value and I definately would return year after year.
We keep returning to Amalfi. It has everything we need for a relaxing vacation. We spend the most of our time on the private beach, but the pools (one is heated) are nice, too. The property is kept very clean and manicured. We saw the maintence crew out every morning. There are charcoal grills, and a nice kitchen for those who like to cook. It is very close to groceries, drug stores, dollar stores, and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. This was the first time we had rented a unit managed by Crye-Leike, and they provided a few extra unexpected perks (video rentals, water park discounts, boat tour discounts.) We felt they gave us good service. Our only complaint was that they couldn't do anything about the rain, but I guess that was too much to ask.
The service was excellent. When we called, we always received prompt service. The condo was incredible! Really clean! Very safe. Close to the beach. We will definitely stay at this condo complex again.
Crye-Leike Coastal Realty provided great service. The emails provided great insight and information about the condo and the ammenities available. Checking in and out was a breeze. We very much enjoyed the home. It was clean and kid friendly and very close to the beach. The beach area for Amalfi Coast renters was not crowded like other areas along the beach and the water was beautiful. The location is 2 minutes from the Silver Sands outlet mall. The amenities inside the condo were fabulous, such as the washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, beach toys, internet access, clean pools, etc. The rental also provided ammenities outside the condo, such as free movie rentals, fishing trips, golf excursions, water park access, etc. All of the ammenities and the close, noncrowded beach were probably my favorite things about this rental property. Our only complaint was the check in time wasn't until 4 PM and the check out time is at 10 AM, but this seems to be the norm everywhere.
The condo was very comfortable and had easy access to the beach and pool. We loved sitting out on the balcony early mornings and overlooking the pool and water. My husband and I were there a couple of days before our 2 grown sons came with their wife and fiance and had everything we needed to relax and play and visit. we do plan to go back and would definitely rent this condo again. It was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.
We had booked trip @ Amalfi Coast Resort 313 for a long Labor Day Weekend as our last summer 2008 vacation. Unfortunately, Hurricane Gustav wanted to join us and we were watching intently as the storm made landfall in Louisiana. The staff was very accommodating throughout and we ultimately made the trip both as a vacation and as a evacuation destination. We stayed a few extra days awaiting the ok to return home to Louisiana. We have rented here before and as usual the condo was neat and very convenient to the beach. The beach staff was very accommodating and having them there takes the worry of much needed chairs and umbrellas for the day at the beach. Would recommend the facility highly.
We loved the pool area.The unit was very clean and my young boys loved the bunk beds in the hallway.I would love to stay at this same location again.Thank you
