We really enjoyed the accommodations. The location was great, centrally located near everything we wanted to do especially our nieces wedding! It was just too short. The manager provided excellent customer service I called a few days before our arrival and all of my questions were answered. The property description was accurate, the unit was clean. It look just like the picture and we were pleasantly surprised that the flooring was updated! We would recommend it.

I had a beautiful stay at Luau 6930. Resort was beautiful and well maintained. However the unit itself was extremely in need of an update and new furniture. There was not 1 comfortable place to sit or lay. Bed was full of sink holes. Couch was horrible. I had tall glasses and 4 forks. Would return but not to that unit.

We stay 1 week at this condo and loved the relaxing views of the pool, golf course and warm sunsets. Even though it's not a beach front condo, we truly enjoyed the views from the 9th floor.
I loved being able to do a 10 minute walk to the beach during lunch time and relax.
Our only recommendation would be to do a few upgrades to the property or refurnish it. It will encompass it's wonderful setting.
We'll definitely look to stay here again in the summer.

This was our first trip to Destin as we usually do cruises every year with the cruise line industry shut down we decided to try out Destin because of the blue waters. The condo was great,the location was great, the area was not full of traffic where the condo was but if you leave and go a mile away the traffic is pretty bad so we were happy that we got this area. The walk to the beach is not bad. The condo is clean and stocked full of Kitchen utensils that we needed for cooking and the condo was quiet. The pool was clean and not crowded ! All in all it was a great value and great place. Also we had a problem with the code for the storage cage and I called the office and they got it taken care of immediately. I was very pleased with how fast they resolved the issue they even had someone come out to the property to get the cage unlocked which was great Because it stocked with beach chairs and all your beach Essentials!

This was a much needed break for my family. Great location, beautiful resort grounds, and accomodations.
I wish we had more resort information in the room, i.e., tram map and times, resort maps, information on ice machine locations,etc.
Also, it would be nice to let people know in advance to bring toilet paper. We had one roll for a family of 3 for a week.

We loved having easy access to the best and the pool since that’s exactly what we were looking for our vacation.
The property did have a few items in the kitchen and bathroom to get us started, but it would have even nice if they would have had a couple of more paper products (toilet paper, bounty, and maybe some wipes to keep counter clean), sugar packets, and more soap for dishes. These are things guests don’t want to have to purchase when on vacation.

This condo has a very nice view of the pool area and the resort in general (when there is no fog)--but it is in dire need of an update--it is dark, dreary, has uncomfortable/bulky/dark/very out-dated furniture, and old carpeting with visible stains. The balcony chairs were plastic and all 4 chair backs were broken. No beach chairs were provided for use on the beach, which is always a perk for travelers. The kitchen IS in good shape and is well stocked with dishes, etc. (The refrigerator was the cleanest frig I've ever had in a rental.) Having a washer and dryer in unit was very helpful. Location is convenient, and the resort offers many walking and biking options. We were unfortunately in Destin during an unusually foggy and dreary week, and the 9th floor unit was very dark with no light coming in from outside; this highlighted the inadequate lighting in the bedroom (I could barely see to pack) and living area. There is nothing that feels "beachy" in this condo, which meant it wasn't pleasant to be in there during foggy, rainy, gloomy days. The property management responded promptly when our TVs would not work, which we greatly appreciated. The electronic entry keypad is great. My husband made good use of the free golf available with the Family Fun package. We would LOVE to return, but would not do so without it being updated throughout (other than kitchen). The description says that the condo is "new to Destin Getaways"; do not assume that this means it is new and updated. We saw other units in Luau that were much more pleasant and updated than 6930.

We loved the condo. It was very nice and clean. Our problem was there were no bath towels in our condo. We arrived on Thursday. I didn’t realize there weren’t any towels until late Thursday night. I called Friday morning around 10 to notify the management company. The lady said they should be under the sink. I told her there were hand towels but no bath towels. She replied that she would have some delivered. I called back around 2 because we still didn’t have towels. She rudely said they would be there by 5. We never received towels that day. I called again Saturday and left two messages. I never got a call back. We stayed three nights in the condo. I had to wash our beach towels multiple times so that we would have towels to dry off with that weren’t sandy from the beach. I was very disappointed that we didn’t at least get a return call apologizing for the mix up. Things happen but it was an easy fix had somebody reached out to us after our calls. While we loved the condo, the management team was quite disappointing.

We decided on a whim to visit Sandestin for the first time and selected this property for our stay. We booked on Monday and arrived Wednesday. Information from the property management team was clear and easy to follow. They were available and answered our call when we had question. The condo was clean and well kept. It was a short walk to the beach. The hot tub and heated pool were a blessing on the cooler days. We enjoyed the resort property by biking, running and playing miniature golf. It was great and we will definitely be back!

Awesome stay. Great location and a great rate! Close enough to the beach to go back and forth easily and nice restrooms right off the beach and pool. Pool is huge and so nice. Love the access to burgers and drinks poolside. The condo was clean and just the right size for a family of four with two young kids. Would love to go back, but maybe not in peak season. The beach was pretty crowded last week of June.

We stayed at the Luau for a friends wedding at the Sandestin resort. Very family friendly and enjoyed the Luau pool. Condo was great for a short family vacation was nice having a full kitchen to cook meals and utilized the grills on the property. A short walk to the beach wasn't bad unless you needed to go back up to the room for anything. I would stay there again. The one suggestion would be a new comforter on the bed, maybe more like a hotel duvet that can be changed. This one looked kind of old.

Condo unit in the Luau was as pictures described. I would stay there again. Only gripe I had was that the kitchen sink faucet was leaking and needed repair. I just sopped up water when used sink. Wasn't a big deal. Kids enjoyed location as much as I did. Great place!

This was a great stay for our families first vacation of four! We loved the grounds, the location was great (a little further from beach than expected) and the pool was good. The only things that I would change is possibly providing beach service, better parking, and the pool tended to get a lot of trash from the surrounding landscape. Stay at the resort was nice but would pick a different condo at Luau. First time using Destin Getaways and staff was friendly and nice. 1) I was definitely unhappy that I had to travel all the way down 98 to the office to get the keys and the condo rented did not have the electronic codes like most condos I rented. Although they didn't have an electronic lock, they had a combo code to leave key at door but didn't give me code so I could use?? Would never rent this condo EVER again 2) Condo suggested that it was "updated". It was hardly updated at all. I tried to rent another condo from Destin Getaways but it was already rented that was "updated" and it was really "updated" per the pictures. This one, not so much. Looks like every other condo I've stayed in at Luau for the past 6 years. 3) The condo was set on a scorching 78 degrees when I arrived. Not the way you want to come in after carrying handfuls of luggage sweating to death in a hot condo 4) The bedroom lights didn't work but they did come and fix those upon request 5) The balcony of my condo was unavailable for use due until the last two days of my trip. I was on the 9th floor and if I would have known that I wouldn't be able to use my balcony, then I would definitely have rented another condo 6) TV in bedroom did have DVD player but when used for movies, noticed that TV is not really good quality. Would definitely suggest that the owner upgrade their TVs in quality and definitely in size.

We try to keep the thermostats at a reasonable temperature when the condo is unoccupied however, we have lowered that since. For the most part the decor in the Luau towers are of the same design. Owners do try to have theirs stand out with small touches. I am sorry that the association scheduled required maintenance during your stay and unfortunately that is something that is out of our hands. All recommendations have been addressed with the owner. Our goal is to make sure guest enjoy their stay and hope you will give us a second chance.

This was our first time bringing my 6 year old to A Florida beach, and it was wonderful. Everything was unbelievably clean and the condo was perfect. Exactly like the pictures. If I had to say anything negative, the parking garage construction was a bit frustrating. We meet a couple that traveled to the same building 2 summers previous and said the construction was exactly the same. It creating some difficulty getting our luggage to the room, but nothing that would put a damper on the trip. Hands down the best vacation we have had and we will be back!!!

Our brand new one-bedroom, one-bath condominium is located on the 9th floor of Luau Tower II. Professionally designed and decorated, Luau 6930 offers you and your family total relaxation. Fabulous views are offered from the living room, bedroom and extra large balcony. The full-sized kitchen comes totally outfitted for all your needs; whether it be something as simple as a cup of morning coffee or preparing that fresh fish you just reeled in from the Gulf. The sunsets from this unit are simply amazing!

All of our vacation properties are FAMILY RENTALS ONLY. NO units will be rented to vacationing students or young adults (under 25) unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. We do not rent to chaperoned groups. A parent must be staying in the unit at all times. Our rental units are monitored for violation of this policy. All violators will be evicted with all rental payments being forfeited and additional charges will be applied. Reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed. This policy includes reservations made by parents who do not check-in and/or who leave overnight during the length of the stay. NO EXCEPTIONS!
