Description

COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures
Due to the pandemic, we have changed our cleaning procedures. As always we are washing all sheets and blankets in between each guest and we are providing antibacterial soap. We are sanitizing and disinfecting all commonly touched surfaces. We highly encourage each guest to bring disinfecting wipes and any other cleaning supplies to ensure their own safety!

*POOL UNDER CONSTRUCTION* Other SOA pools around the resort will still be available for use. These pools are heated during winter months.

Beachside One was the first beachfront condominium constructed in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort® and set a precedent for the sophisticated high-rises that would soon follow. 

Beachside One 4093 beachfront condominium is a ninth floor unit and has beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. You are only steps away to the sugar white Sandestin® beaches and have access to a community pool (heated seasonally), hot tub and barbecue grills.  

The kitchen is updated with stainless steel appliances and large breakfast bar. A keurig coffee maker is provided for coffee lovers. The Master bedroom features a a king bed with direct views of the gulf. The guest bedroom is kid friendly with bright colors that features twin bunk sets. The private balcony provides amazing views of the pristine beaches. The living room has ample space and provides additional sleeping arrangements with a queen sofa sleeper.

Within Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort® is the Village of Baytowne Wharf, which features cajun eateries, quaint shops and a vibrant night-life. Take the FREE tram service and explore all the Village of Baytowne Wharf has to offer! The resort also offers four championship golf courses – The Links, Baytowne, The Raven and Burnt Pine. Within walking distance is the Serenity by the Sea Spa & Salon at the Hilton Sandestin®, where you can pamper yourself with a massage or manicure.

Other things to note: Starter packs including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, shampoos, and laundry detergent are provided. Depending on your length of stay, please plan accordingly as you will be required to replenish these items yourself.

Everything was great! The location is was a bit further than what we usually book when our stay in Destin, but it close to everything we had liked. Very clean and neat! The view from the balcony was beautiful! Sad that the pool was under construction but we could tell that it will be an amazing pool once done. Loved that the beach was private so it wasn’t busy compared to the other resorts around us. Would definitely book again!

If you’re looking for a beachfront property with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico, look no further. Sandestin is east of Destin proper and this condo is in a gated area that is part of a beautiful resort. Going forward, I won’t stay anywhere but this area. It’s peaceful, manicured, and not far from Baytowne (a great place for shopping, dining, games, and live music.

This particular unit was well-appointed with everything needed for a great stay. The only small negative was the ice maker in the fridge was not working properly.

The unit itself is steps away from the beach. However, if the beach isn’t all you’re wanting, you may want to consider another place. The pool is not finished. We didn’t think it was a big deal (hey, we’re there for the beach) but as our stay went on, we thought it would be nice to have a pool and hot tub. The pool at the other complex is available but it’s a little difficult to get to and there is no hot tub. Again, we were there for the beach so it was not a big deal. One more thing: we saw many people with golf carts riding around throughout this property. We were hoping to rent one but apparently only certain units have availability to them and they are not for rent. A little disappointing but again, we were there for the beach.

Finally, and this is a little odd, we had issues with the garbage disposal on our last night there. No big deal. I was going to mention it to the management company upon checkout the next morning. As we were packing everything up the last morning, maintenance showed up and fixed the disposal quickly. I asked how he knew we had problems with the disposal as neither my wife nor I called it in. He said he had a request ticket come in that morning and he came right over. Very strange. Possible conclusion is that the Alexa in the LR was being used by the Mgmt. company to listen in on conversations. I don’t know. But I can&#

We had the best time on our vacation. We had 3 small kiddos and my parents joined us as well. The condo was clean and fully stocked with all essentials. The pool was good and just a short walk to the beach. We loved being close to Baytowne Wharf, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be coming back!

For my wife and I, this was a nice unit to stay for a month. Good location, good bed, clean. Not perfect, but no unit is perfect for everyone. I would definitely recommend this unit. I couldn't say that for another unit I stayed in last year.

We had a blast at this location. Easy access to both pool and beach. Looking forward to go back next year if possible. The only thing I would suggest is to have more toilet paper for the bathrooms, otherwise everything was impeccable.

Choose this location & paid more to be close to the pool/beech. I have a bad knee & a 4, 3, 1 yr that required going back to unit often. Arrived Mon - pool closed until late Wed. It wasn't owner's fault but owner should have made some kind of concession for our inconvenience. Other guests I spoke to were offered partial refunds. Was told we could "walk" to the complex next door to use their pool. Again defeated my whole purpose of choosing this condo.

We went to Florida as things began to shut down. The condo was as expected and in a perfect location for us. My only disappointment was that there were no basic kitchen supplies for cooking, not even salt and pepper or filters for coffee pot.. Never experienced that before.

We had a great time. Beachside One was a great place to stay and our unit worked out perfectly. Big enough for the seven of us and the unit was in really good condition. It's showing some age and wear and tear but nothing out of the ordinary. Beach was awesome. Good time of the year with warm water and sunshine. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a nice place to stay on a beautiful beach. Disappointed that there was not adequate cleaning and toiletry supplies made available. We contacted management about dishwasher detergent or dish soap or a sponge. Also, only two rolls of toilet paper for six people for a week. We were informed that these items were not included. I was surprised that these items would not be provided, especially at the cost of the unit.

The condo was clean and conveniently located right on the beach. We felt at home. The parking lot was secure and it's easy to get in and out. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment in the area. My favorite part was the easy access to the beach via the boardwalk. The pool and grilling area was also very clean and enjoyable.

My sister and I took our mother and daughters for a girl's trip to Sandestin. We were very pleased with this unit. The unit was well decorated and the younger girl's loved the two sets of bunkbeds in the second bedroom.

Great location, great unit for kids-- loved the bunk beds. Microwave was broken but someone came out to start the process to fix it. Several doors would lock on their own, one had paper stuffed in the door latch, so watch out for that. Overall, great for a short beach trip!! Great amenities package with the rental!

Condo was clean, beds comfortable (to include bunks). Open concept of condo nice. Master bedroom, bath, and closet seem to waste space that could be used in other ways, since spare room and bathroom/hall are small.
Pool is very small and only 2 elevators for Beachside 1, one of which was down during check in on Sunday. Ice maker was not working for a day or two and once ice slowly started making, it would not come out of the door dispenser. Washer and dryer took a long time to complete cycles.

We had a wonderful time. My family of 5 came down for the week of the 4th. My kids ages 8, 6 , and 3 had a blast. The condo was perfect. The kids loved the bunk beds and the master bedroom was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely rent this condo again in the future.

We truly enjoyed 4093 Beachside I. It was a lovely condo. We enjoyed the condo, bur did not enjoy learning that Crye-Leiky realty rented the condo for the 2016 year after sending us notice to "renew early." When we inquired, we were told it was already rented for 2016. That was a huge disappointment and with this type of practice, I would not recommend this realty company to anyone.

We were so pleased with our stay at Beachside One in every aspect. We will be back next year. The property had every amenity we could hope for and was clean and in excellent shape. We now think of it as our home away from home. The superintendent, Tim, was helpful and friendly also. When he saw that my wife had broken her ankle he loaned us a wheelchair which was a godsend and worked well for her both inside and out of the condo. The staff at Destin Getaways, especially Adele Miller took great care of us, even helping us find services we needed for my wife. We felt like they valued us and were there to handle any needs we had. Bravo to them! Even with a temporary handicap we were able to take advantage of many amenities of SanDestin Resort. And, of course, the weather was WAY better than where we live up north. It was a joy to wake up and have the Gulf right out our window to look at as well as to sit on the balcony and watch beautiful sunsets. THANK YOU!

We have been coming to Destin for Spring Break for the last 5 years. The Beachside One condo was our favorite. Being right on the beach was extremely easy for the family. We were close to the shuttle stop to take us to Baytowne Village. The Condo was good. I used the free golf offer from Destin Getaways for the Links and Baytowne in Sandestin. Both courses are very good and fun to play. It was a great vacation - very easy.

Overall a good experience. Easy to book. After driving for over 12 hours the after-hours check in was fantastic. We were able to go straight to our condo.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was just as described, with a beautiful view of the beach. The balcony was big enough to fit 4 adults and enjoyed the breeze. Beach access was quick and easy, the pool and Jacuzzi was a plus! Did not get to enjoy the put-put golf or basketball court but it all looked great and close by. There were a few items that could be fixed for next time, door locks in the restroom, fridge ice maker, but overall everything was great and super clean. Would definitely recommend friends and family.

Views of the gulf were fantastic. Unit a bit cluttered and could use some makeover. Not sure how you could be comfortable with more than 4 people. Just right for two of us.

Overall this was a great place to stay! The location was excellent and the pool and hot tub were a hit! Loved that there were chairs that could be rented so I didn't have to hassle with that. The bunk beds were perfect for the girls that i took on spring break. The condo could use some updating and the kitchen items need to be replenished as the pots/pans were rusty and were lacking a full set of dry measuring cups which made cooking somewhat difficult.
