COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures
Our housekeeping department is very thorough in how we maintain our properties but have recently implemented new sanitization procedures to give you, the guest, peace of mind when traveling this season.
New Cleaning Products
Our housekeeping team has ordered high-quality cleaning chemicals that are provided to each housekeeper. These products are required to be used by our team to properly sanitize and disinfect all surfaces.
Beds
All of our linens are washed and dried professionally. Upon every departure, linens are stripped from all beds, professionally laundered, and beds are re-made with fresh linens for quality assurance.
Towels
Our towels are also professionally laundered and are separated and sealed into individual packages for each individual guest.
Normal Cleaning Procedures
Kitchen
- Empty the dishwasher
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including countertops, tables, cabinets, etc.
- Clean and sanitize all appliances, including toasters, microwaves, coffee maker, etc.
- Sweep and mop floors
- Trash: take out, clean and sanitize can
- Refrigerator: Remove all food, clean and sanitize
- Replenish supplies, including soap, dish detergent, trash bags, and paper towels
Living Areas
- Sweep/mop or vacuum floors
- Clean and polish windows
- Pick up trash
- Clean furniture
Bedrooms
- Dust and clean all surfaces, including all bedroom furniture, electronics, lamps, fans and blinds
- Change and wash linens
- Sweep/mop or vacuum floors, including under the bed
- Pick up trash
- Clean and polish windows
Bathrooms
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including countertops, sinks, toilet, and faucets
- Clean and polish mirrors
- Change and wash towels
- Replenish supplies, including soap, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner
- Sweep and mop floors
- Trash: take out, clean and sanitize can
- Clean and polish windows
Laundry Area (if available)
- Make sure washer and dryer are empty
- Remove lint from the dryer
- Replenish amenities including, laundry detergent
- Sweep/mop or vacuum floors
Exteriors
- Wipe down and clean patio furniture, including chairs, tables, and grill
- Sweep entrances and deck
