COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures
Due to the pandemic, we have changed our cleaning procedures. As always we are washing all sheets and blankets in between each guest and we are providing antibacterial soap. We are sanitizing and disinfecting all commonly touched surfaces. We highly encourage each guest to bring disinfecting wipes and any other cleaning supplies to ensure their own safety!

Dunes of Crystal Beach is a 20-unit luxury condominium complex that sits on 255 feet of beautiful beach and is located in the Crystal Beach community of Destin, FL. This beautiful Destin gulf front condo is professionally decorated, painted and equipped with top of the line appliances and electronics.

The spacious, 2676 sq. ft floor plan including the balcony offers 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Property amenities include: secured and gated entry/exit, covered parking, 2 elevators, private storage, exercise room, Gulf-front pool and spa, stainless steel appliances including ice maker, and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. When you're burnt on the beach you can sit and relax in the condo and watch movies or sports on the 52 inch flat screen.. or you can relax on the covered over-sized patio while relaxing in the plush seating! We had many unpleasant surprises during our weeklong July 4th holiday stay. The front door did not readily lock and required a number of phone calls to the property managers before we learned the “trick” to keeping the condo secure. That first night as I prepared a casserole dinner for our 11-member family, I realized the oven did not work, and it remained broken for our entire stay. Regrettably, we were not told about the oven before our arrival. The sliding door to the deck was difficult to open and grew increasingly worse. Maintenance oiled the door, but to no avail. By the third day, we had to use the door through the master bedroom to access the deck. The beds were old and lumpy, and the two double beds collapsed a number of times. Although the condo was to accommodate 12 people, we only had 11 dinner forks. The majority of the pots, pans and skillets were old, scratched Teflon that would be unhealthy to use and should be discarded.

Four years ago, we stayed in another unit in the same complex and were very pleased, but 103 was a disappointment. The property managers were sympathetic to our situation but were unable to fix the oven and the door to the deck. They did bring more silverware midweek of our stay.

The beach was lovely.

We were a group of eight, five adults and three teens. Photos of the property indicated that it was more isolated that it actually is. The condo overall was clean, very pretty, and spacious. The location was excellent and the beach and pool access was excellent. The balcony was one thing that sold us on this condo and it did not disappoint. However, we did not think the condo was as luxurious as advertised.
Not everything was in working order. The regular oven did not work, the range hood fan did not work and sounded if it were going to drop onto the stove, and one of the burners on the stove would not turn on. It just spit gas. With eight people, a lot of food was cooked. So the latter three issues were big ones. There was an issue with the front door code, but that was resolved. There were many restaurants and activities close by.
Recommendations would be based on persons inquiring.

The rental was great as always. Can’t beat the views and beach access was easy. The only really notable thing is that the sliding glass door heading out to the balcony is very hard to open and close and needs to be adjusted. You have to put a lot of weight into it to open and close it. Also the beach chair rental prices as noted as $150 in the Hospitality app., $185 on the paper in the condo but they are actually $200 per week when you rent them. Cameron with the chair rental company was awesome as well and very accommodating. This was our 9th year in Destin and will be back.

Great place to spend time on the beach with family. Private beaches were awesome! Facilities or exceptional! Convenience to attractions were fine ��. We stay at the same Dunes of Crystal Beach 103 every other year. Never want to go anywhere else on our trip to the beach.

The condo was absolutely perfect for our family!! Spacious and beautifully decorated.. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Each family had a bedroom and bath with very comfortable beds. The master bath was so beautiful!! The view from the large balcony was enjoyed by all. Our condo was spacious, clean and the kitchen had all of the appliances and utensils we needed for 6 adults and 2 infants. The location and view from our huge balcony was amazing. The rental staff were very friendly and the Destin Getaway package included free transportation to and from the airport. Everyone in our group was extremely impressed with our accommodations. We will definitely be back.

When I called to rent, the lady who answered the phone said she was busy with check ins and would have to call me back. She never did. I booked everything online. The condo is very spacious. The furniture is old - you sink into the sofa. There was a blood stain on the master bedroom mattress pad . The bed linens were old. Comforters had holes in them. The condo sleeps 10 but we were only given 8 sets of towels. I called the emergency number on Sunday and the man who called me back said he would bring more towels over on Monday. Never saw him. The view of the beach is beautiful from the over sized balcony. Not sure if I can recommend this particular condo to friends.

The condo was very spacious and beautiful. The kids loved having their own rooms and we loved falling asleep at night with the sound of the ocean coming through the big back doors. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils. The only issues that we had is that they charge a lot of money for the cleaning fee and when we arrived, my wife spent 2 hrs getting the place "cleaned" enough for us to use the bathrooms. Carpets needed vacuumed and under couches was very dusty. My recommendation to them is to find a different cleaning contractor.

This was the nicest place we have stayed at. The very large balcony had enough space and seating for all 10 of us! Loved morning coffee looking at the beach or an afternoon cocktail on the balcony. Kitchen was very nice and had everything you need. I do wish we wouldn't have to pay to get in at noon when it was ready, seems like an unnecessary expense. But overall, great vacation and convenient to all the action in Destin.

The condo was a great experience, we loved the location and it was just as described. We absolutely had a great time in Destin. Only complaint is that one of the full beds was very uncomfortable and broke down and there were not 12 towels for the 12 people it was supposed to sleep.

Plenty of room for our extended family to enjoy our vacation in this condo. Watch the dolphins each morning as you have your morning coffee. This unit is convenient to the beach and pool. The beach was not crowded and we loved the location. We enjoyed our stay here in destin.

I would say that we had a really good time. The unit was clean, it was nicely updated, and the balcony was amazing. The beach was private and beautiful! The water was amazingly clear! We maxed out the condo as far as people allowed and we were all still very comfortable. The only issue is that we tried a couple of times to book the "free" amenities, but we were told "wrong number, you need to call xyz." Then when you call said number, they tell you to call somewhere else. Needless to say, we became frustrated and did not us 1 of our "free" amenities. By the way, just because you stay 7 nights, does not mean that 7 of you can all go do the same thing for free each day. It is a one person per day deal, which is what we figured, but still wanted to let y'all know. Also, when you call one of the numbers, a super nice lady will speak to you, but when you call the other, the lady doesn't really seem like she has time to talk to you (that was 2 days in a row trying to book something). OH! And just because an amenity is listed, doesn't mean that they still have an agreement with the condo (I can't remember which it was).

To sum this all up, if you are going for the beach and condo only, PERFECT place. If you are taking several kids and want to enjoy the "free" amenities, have lots of patience and time to figure out how to navigate the process.

We were two sisters with our teenagers kids for Spring break it was great to have a view to the beach from the apartment to keep an eye on them, the location was close to all the facilities and restaurants. One of the best vacations ever. Beach gorgeous and clean. Condo was large and great location. Appliances were in great condition. My only complaint is that the cleaning company did not do a very good job with cleaning the condo. The vacuums inside the apartment were very dirty and did not work. They could use way more utensils. But overall, a great experience!

Love the size of the complex and the unit we rented. Overall it was in good condition, but the kitchen needed some attention. There were 11 in our group and there were not enough utensils for everyone, we had to buy plastic.

Always love to visit Destin and this was our third time at this location. We love the beach in this area. Seems to be less crowded than many areas. Very easy access to all the area attractions. Great spot for a family!

Best vacation rental ever! The condo was very spacious, beautifully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cooking tools, including large pots and pans, which was great because we enjoy cooking. Access to the building, pool and beach was very secure, which is important to us. We would highly recommend the Dunes of Crystal beach and would happily stay there again on our next visit to Destin.

It was a great stay. The condo was nice and spacious and we could not have asked for better weather. The only disappointment was the pool area and the grill area - both are very small - would have thought those areas would have been a little larger.
