Due to the pandemic, we have changed our cleaning procedures. As always we are washing all sheets and blankets in between each guest and we are providing antibacterial soap. We are sanitizing and disinfecting all commonly touched surfaces. We highly encourage each guest to bring disinfecting wipes and any other cleaning supplies to ensure their own safety!

"Golfing Around" is a laid back bungalow located in Laurel Grove on the bay side of the five-star Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort®. A golfer's dream, this home is ideally located on the beautiful Raven Golf Course. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath Sandestin® vacation home sleeps up to 8 people and is tucked away in a quiet, gated community, making it the perfect location for your family vacation or a competitive week of fun and golf with your golfing buddies or a relaxing family getaway!

The new dark hard wood floors are beautiful and compliment the rustic beach decor. The bench style seating for the dining room provides plenty of seating for the whole family. In the living room, you will find a flat-screen TV and a Bose sound bar that provides the best sound for your favorite movie or watching your favorite team. Open up the shades and enjoy the surrounding lush golf course and bright Florida sunshine right from the living room.

The home features a beautiful wrap-around porch with plenty of seating, ceiling fans and an outdoor grill.

The first floor features the Master Bedroom furnished with a king-size bed a flat screen T.V. and private bathroom. The bathroom features a stand up shower and a garden tub perfect for soaking in. The first floor guest bedroom features a king bed and a flat screen T.V. The guest bedroom features a private stand up shower and is also accessible from the hallway. The first floor bedrooms have private access to the wrap around porch. The upstairs master is a private sanctuary furnished with two queen beds and a full bathroom. A flat screen T.V. is also provided for guests and a walk in closet.

The house provides bikes for guests wanting to take a breezy tour around the resort. There are also beach chairs to sit and catch the best sunsets. For easy and quick access to the beach you can use the six seat golf cart to zip over through the under ground tunnel. The walk to the pool and fitness center is short making it a breeze to access.

Because of the home's pristine location, you will be close to the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The Village is filled with shopping boutiques, local restaurants, and many fun, adventurous activities for the kids! Take your kids for a ride on the merry-go-round, let them scale the rock climbing wall, zip line across the lake have a bounce on the Eurobungee trampolines. There are plenty of activities for the whole family inside the Village of Baytowne Wharf. This Sandestin® vacation home comes complete with its own sporty golf cart. You can zip around the resort in style and never worry about traffic or finding parking when you spend your day at the beach.

This home is pet-friendly making it an easy decision to bring the dog for this family affair. ** Please note that there is a $200 non-refundable pet fee if you are bringing a pet. If you book online it will be added within 24 hours by our team. Two dogs max and they must be under 30 pounds."

Other things to note: Starter packs including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, shampoos, and laundry detergent are provided. Depending on your length of stay, please plan accordingly as you will be required to replenish these items yourself.

We enjoyed our stay at "Golfing Around" very much. Great convenient location and beautiful home. Only issue was the bathroom showers were getting pretty mildewed but overall very happy with the home.

This was a great rental. We traveled with family and everyone from young to old had a great time. The home is clean and well appointed.The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances and dishes needed to prepare meals. We put the charcoal grill to use while we there. The location is excellent, just a short golf cart ride or walk to the pool. The rental management company is very professional and quick to respond. Check-in was a breeze compared to some of the houses we have rented in Sandestin. The kids had a good time guessing if the golf balls would land in the yard when the golfers teed off. We would definitely stay here again.

House was what we expected. Very centrally located, beautiful landscaping to enjoy morning walks or just taking relaxing drives on the golf cart. The only two improvements would be a better shower head in the master bedroom and also spray for spiders. We found 6 in the bedrooms. They were tiny but all the same a good spraying would rid the house of them. We had our family of 6 adults and the house was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

We spent 5 wonderful weeks at this home. Very comfortable and well kept home. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The golf cart was great. Looked brand new and was pretty fast. Less than a block walk to the fitness/clubhouse, pool and hot tub. Make sure you're given the latest codes to get in. Ours would not work, but we ran into the HOA person over there and he gave us the correct codes. I would definitely recommend this home. There was one thing that I had to correct. I called about it but never heard back. The WIFI was terrible. Phones and Tablets would not stay connected. Tried to play movie in DVD player but it said it needed a software update to play the disc but it would not stay connected long enough to update and firestick would not stay connected. I looked around and found cable box and router stuffed in top slot in front bedroom dresser. I disconnected it and reconnected it to the cable in the Main living area. Now has full strength signal everywhere. The cabinets are full of dishes, ect so there not much room for food items to be put up, especially if your staying for an extended period. A pantry cabinet would be nice between the 2 windows in the kitchen. Could not use the bikes. The handle bars needed to be adjusted and there were no tools to loosen them. The main room white ceiling fan could use a cleaning. Had a few dust balls float down off of it. Overall it a very nice place and we would stay there again.

"Golfing Around" is very standard in accommodations. You get exactly what you pay for and not much more. The kitchen lacks accessories, the den furniture is old, and the house hasn't had any TLC in some time. The kitchen sink pipes busted, the refrigerator didn't work, and the dryer had its issues. I will say although the maintance people were at our house the whole time they were great, friendly, and very helpful. The maintance crew saved this review from being a disaster.

It was a great experience, even though it rained all week. The resort was nice. The home is clean. While we appreciated having bikes to ride, we had to fix one bike and another broke while we were there. The golf cart was really nice to have and the ride was not bad to the beach.

We were very pleased with the accommodations and they matched exactly what was published. The Baytown Wharf was a nice place that entertained all ages in our family (73yrs-1yr old) including our dog. The Tuesday fireworks were a nice bonus. While we enjoyed the beach we found it to be too busy for our liking and discovered the Marina's smaller beach that had water activities and lunch close by. The house was clean and spacious and the management team (especially Donna) did a great job before and during our stay. We did have one minor plumbing issue that they sent plummers to fix. My only complaint (if you want to call it one)is that the cart was only a 4 seater for a house that sleeps 8, but we managed just fine since the pool was walking distance. We were able to play 2 courses Bluewater Bay (part of the discount card but would not recommend and The Links at San Destin which was not part of the card but well worth the green fees and is on the property. Overall I would recommend Destin Getaways, the house and the resort...all made for a memorable family vacation. We will be back and maybe as soon as Oct!!!!

Very nice property that is located perfectly within Sandestin. Golf cart a huge plus. Unit will need updates in near future I.e. kitchen, paint and bathrooms. House was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. Management company is outstanding and will use them for future rentals in Sandestin.

My family and I enjoyed the home. The view of the golf course was beautiful. The only problems that we encountered was the golf cart and the one of the bikes. The golf cart was cute but extremely slow. The bike was squeaked and was rusty. Luckily we brought our own bikes. They were faster than the golf cart. Other than that, the home itself was very nice and we did not have any trouble with it. I would recommend staying here but don't expect much out of that cart.

Great location, nice home but some minor issues with the house and the golf cart. The master bathroom toilet ran the entire trip and the golf cart had issues with the headlights so we could not use at night.

We stay in Sandestin every summer. This was the second time to stay in Laurel Grove, buy the first time to stay in this house. We loved it. Golf cart was very convenient. Everything was clean and as described. We went golfing, fishing, and to the beach everyday. The pool was very close by. There was plenty of room, much better than a condo. Thw surroundings are just beautiful. We'll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

This was my seventh or eighth trip to Sandestin and this was one of the best rentals yet. The home was well furnished and very comfortable. Loved the location. The weather was so bad, we couldn't use the golf cart, so have no opinion on that. Would definitely rent here again.

Golf cart needs a little work, if you went slow it would stop, but sure did love having one to get around in. Oven also was not heating. Everything else was great. Enjoyed our week and will be back!!

Only having a few days free for kids spring break, we were able to pick up available days at this cute house. Nestled in the trees along the golf course, the location is quiet & relaxing. Enough room for all 8 people in our party. Quick golf cart or drive up to beach. Enjoyed having the bikes to ride. Kitchen well stocked. Would rent here again. Everything easy & automated with rental company.

Loved the golf cart and the way the community is designed to stay out of your car. The house was spacious but the upper room should have privacy instead of a big open rectangle looking down on the den- there needs to be a mutual sound barrier- which would prevent a repeat visit. The bedroom tvs need to be updated but otherwise a wonderful stay.

The family had a great time while we were there.The house has plenty of room and was clean. The TVs were larger than you usually find in a rental and the sound bar was nice for playing music. The only reason I gave it a 4 of 5 on general conditions is that for my grading it would have to be in mint condition to get a five star rating and as with any house with a few years of age there is some minor normal wear and tear. Overall though, we were extremely satisfied.

The rental unit was better than we expected from the website listing. Very nice home away from home with a golf cart and verandah overlooking the golf course. There were some issues we took up with the property management and they were addressed immediately to our satisfaction. The golf cart batteries would only get us to the beach and back once before needing a full recharge and the dust cover is badly torn. The clothes dryer makes so much noise that you need ear plugs while it is operating. Other than that the overall impress is that it was perfect for our winter getaway.
