Description

Craving a place to rest and relax? Gulf Winds East 22 is the perfect place to escape from hectic schedules, unwind, and soak up the sun. This roomy 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome has all the creature comforts needed to make an ideal vacation. This condo has newer furniture in the living room.

The first floor features your main living area with an optional queen sofa sleeper for additional sleeping arrangements. Off of the living room you have your dining area. There is also a 1/2 bath for guest convenience located on the first floor. The kitchen is open and equipped with cooking utensils, dishes and pots and pans for cooking up the fresh catch you hauled in!

The second floor features both bedrooms. The Master bedroom features a king bed with a private standard bathroom. The guest bedroom features two twin beds with its own private standard bathroom as well. The guest bedroom faces the pool area. Each bedroom provides a private balcony.
The TVs in every room have been mounted for optimal viewing pleasure.

Starter packs including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, shampoos, and laundry detergent are provided. Depending on your length of stay, please plan accordingly as you will need to replenish these items with your own personal favorites!
All Destin Getaways properties come equipped with a property-specific Alexa device with information about the property, nearby attractions, and music stations!

Guests are given one free pass for each activity, per paid night.**One ticket is provided for each activity per day, not per person** They cannot be saved and combined. Activities are subject to availability and partners participation can change at any time. The Family Fun Package does not apply to stays that are longer than 14 nights.

All of our vacation properties are FAMILY RENTALS ONLY. NO units will be rented to vacationing students or young adults (under 25) unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. We do not rent to chaperoned groups. A parent must be staying in the unit at all times. Our rental units are monitored for violation of this policy. All violators will be evicted with all rental payments being forfeited and additional charges will be applied. Reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed. This policy includes reservations made by parents who do not check-in and/or who leave overnight during the length of the stay. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Vacation 2021 we had a great time. We loved the location. The apartment was clean but there were a few things that were broken. We did not see any property management people but we communicated through email which was very good. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Gulf Winds East when we came down to Destin for my son's wedding. The condo was fantastic; right across the street from the beach, there are two great seafood restaurants within a half a mile walk in each direction and close to the outlet mall.

We stay here often over the years. It’s a family oriented, safe condo unit, right at pool and across at from ocean. Just convenient to everything.

We stayed in unit 22 and it was clean enough and stocked with the essentials but it can really use some updating. For the price it was to be expected but the proximity to beach access and the swimming pool really made the trip worth it for my family. We had issues with management in terms of lock box combination codes and also with our internet connection which they could not help us with. If you are looking for a quiet time find another place. We would come back again for the location but hope that management decides to start updating the units.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was very spacious and clean and had everything you would need. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, a small grill in the back and it was just steps from the pool.

It is an awesome family oriented condo unit. There is so much room and storage for everything and everyone. It rained our trip but with the unit being so cool and open we sat around and played games and relaxed. You can’t beat the price for the amount of room you get. I’ve been staying here since 1997. Love Love Love it!!Also don’t forget the proximity to the ocean!! And the pol is steps outside our room. Perfect to watch kiddos!! Can’t wait to return again.

The location was perfect for a vacation with a lot of beach time and sun just walk to the fantastic white sand and enjoy the time. Very close to everything and all the night fun stuff and close to all kind of store.

Had a very good time! Bedroom carpets need to be cleaned or replaced! Several areas showed stains. Hole was noted in the wall of the stairway. We were given the wrong Wi-Fi info that was quickly addressed by the staff. The lights from the pool area were very bright and the curtains did not block the light at nighttime. The twin bedroom had no light on the nightstand. Had to get one from the master bedroom. Overall we had an enjoyable time and the staff was excellent.

We had a great vacation! We had a late arrival and instructions were clear with condo directions. We reported a few problems on Friday morning and maintenance responded fairly quickly. Our main complaint was a bent sofa bed that was uncomfortable and someone parking in our clearly numbered parking space. The office staff member was unhelpful with this situation and very rude. BUT despite those minor encounters, we had a great experience.

My family totally enjoyed our stay at Gulf Wind East 22. It was just across the street from beach so easy to walk. also not that crowdy beach. Swimming Pool is just in front of home so spent a good time there as well.

Many units keep up with refreshing the furnishings. Unit 22 is in need of updates. Furniture is stained. Lampshades and shower heads need to be replaced. Front patio door blind is broken. Dishwasher is missing bottom front panel.

Took 3 days to get the internet up & the master shower holds water, otherwise the unit and experience was great.
