Description

Lee's Retreat is a sensational, completely renovated home located in the upscale Destiny East neighborhood. Destiny East is close to the beach and the two 6 seater golf carts make the trip to the beach nothing but easy.

Before you even enter the home you are greeted by an awe-inspiring courtyard encompassing a fountain and brand-new patio furniture (seating 6) that is perfect for entertaining and relaxing in the Florida sunshine. The courtyard is peaceful and provides a serene escape for relaxation.

The main floor of the house features all the bells and whistles to start your vacation off just right. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for cooking your family meals and entertaining. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a spacious island, gorgeous tile flooring, and freshly painted cabinets. With the dining room in close distance talking and catching up is a breeze. The beautiful wood table seats everyone at dinner time. The living room is spacious and comfortable providing a leather sectional around the flat screen T.V. The main floor also features a guest King bedroom. This bedroom is equipped with a brand new king size bedroom suite as well as a gorgeous bathroom with double mirrors and sinks.

The pool area is a tranquil setting to ease your cares away. There is ample brand new patio seating for guests and a private natural gas grill. This is the area you've been dreaming of to grill out and enjoy some pool time. The pool itself is spectacular not only is large enough for everyone but it has a tanning ledge and in pool floating seating for those who want to bask in the Florida sun. Landscape lighting provides the perfect amount of light to enjoy the pool after the sun sets as well. Pool heat is available at an additional charge.

The second floor hosts the 4 additional bedrooms and a twin sleeper sofa. The large master bedroom is very spacious and overlooks the court yard with a private balcony. The Master Bathroom is extremely desirable with a large Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. His and her sinks ensures both have plenty of space for enjoying. Outside of the master is a small nook with a twin sleeper sofa and flat screen T.V. perfect for accommodating one extra guest.

Down the hall which have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard host the three additional bedrooms. There is a luxurious king guest bedroom decorated to the nines with a private full bathroom. The queen bedroom and bunk room with twin over twin bunks share a bathroom however, they both have private entry into the shared bathroom. The bunk rooms have built in USB charging ports so all of the kids’ devices will be ready for use.
All bedrooms come with large flat screen Smart T.V.’s, WIFI access points for extremely fast connection, and brand new vinyl wood flooring. Each bedroom is perfect for any member of the family.

Lee's retreat is just that, your retreat to the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast. This house has everything you need to feel comfortable while on vacation. Destiny East features additional amenities for guests to enjoy. There is a large community pool, hot tub, clubhouse, movie theater, tennis courts and playground. Destiny East is situation along Scenic Highway 98, a popular road to cruise up and down in the golf cart with plenty of restaurants.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The only downside to the house is that two rooms have to share one bathroom. The parking is also a little snug. :)

Very nice home and convenient location. Size and amenities was perfect for our family if 13. Our only concern and the reason for the low rating was the A/C system. The upstairs unit did not cool effectively. Bedroom temperatures seldom got below 76 and that was with all fans blowing. Made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

Lee's Retreat is a family/friends crowd-pleaser. The house is spacious and very clean. My teens loved their rooms. There are TV's everywhere. The kitchen is well done and has just about every gadget needed. It's a chef's paradise. We opted to warm the pool and that was a big win. The teens loved riding in the golf carts, as did the adults. The scenic highway is easily/safely traveled by cart. Having 2 carts was pretty awesome. The beach is just a couple minutes away by cart/bike/walking- very easily accessed. My 7-year-old loved the pool and the access to the clubhouse, which includes an awesome playground. There were courts that we enjoyed there as well, basketball, pickleball and tennis. The workout room was pretty impressive. My husband played a free round of golf every day. We would have used the free parasail if the weather were warmer. Take advantage of the free/discounted activities if you can! The neighborhood is great and feels very safe. The houses are close together, but the set-up felt very private. I am used to staying on the beach and was concerned that I wouldn't enjoy the distance. I may never stay directly on the beach again. The house was so amazing that you could easily stay put and be content. Traveling via golf cart to the beach/shops/restaurants/clubhouse made this vacation more unique. I cannot emphasize the value of this enough for my teenagers who no longer wish to vacation with their parents. On day 1, we were already online looking to book our next visit to Lee's Retreat. You will not be disappointed!

Lees Retreat was perfect for our family vacation. Beautifully decorated spacious rooms and the kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Walking distance to the beach but we drove most days because of what we were taking to the beach and had good parking. One of the cleanest beaches I have visited. Our favorite thing about the house was the private pool and hot tub. We went with our children and grand children and had a wonderful time. There was also many good places to eat and shop. Would definitely like to visit again.

This house is amazing. Everything was so clean and there is so much space for everyone. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could think a kitchen would need. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit! The golf cart was such a useful addition and made it so easy to pack up and head to the beach. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Overall so amazing and would love to stay again!

End of year vacation before school started 8/7-8-13-21 Beautiful home large enough for our family, parents with 3 adult kids / spouses & their children,13 in all. Nice pool/with sun deck! Lots of amenities. Two gulf carts, beach chairs, 2 bikes etc. beach access is close. Pool and home could use a deep cleaning. Parking is very tight, Only three cars. Need room for golf carts to exit also so juggling cars often. We had a very enjoyable time.

Lee's Retreat was Ahhhmazing!!! ❤❤❤❤❤I would highly recommend this place especially before a big group. The kitchen was an absolute dream it had everything you could possibly need! The beds were super comfy. The golf carts were a bonus however the 6 seater was the only one we were able to use. The 4 seater would not charge up but we made do and was extremely thankful that we had one to use. The only thing I would suggest is to have more towels available and maybe pool or beach towels and also maybe getting the 4 seater golf cart looked at. Overall this has to be one of the best places we have stayed at and would definitely like to start here again. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to renting from this company again!

The home was perfect for our group. With three kids, a one year old and nine adults, the size was perfect. The pool was great. All the rooms were really nice including the kitchen, living room and bed rooms. Had a spectacular vacation. Only issue was the fountain in the courtyard wasn't working.

We rented Lee's Retreat for a family vacation. There were 12 of us and this house had plenty of space for everyone! The home is beautifully decorated, well stocked, comfortable and very clean. The kitchen and grill are a cook's dream -no weak burners or busted appliances, grill was natural gas - no propane to hassle with! The kids stayed in the pool and the golf carts were the perfect addition to make getting to the store or beach fun and easy. Property company was super accommodating and attentive! Definitely recommend this home!

We come to Destin at least once a year and stay in the same house every year. This is our favorite area to stay in. This is the first time we stayed in Lee's Retreat and we absolutely LOVE it!!! This house is everything it is described as! The house is spacious and up to date, very clean, well stocked, fantastic location, and the staff is exceptional! Elizabeth is a gem to work with!! They were bringing new outdoor furniture for the balconies when we were leaving. I wish the new furniture had been there for our stay as there was some broken chairs so we couldn't sit on the balcony. The water fountain in the courtyard was not working when we were there either which is a little disappointing- the sound of a water fountain is soothing. Even with these 2 minor details being disappointing we will definetly return to this house!! We love it!

The house was beautiful and very clean. Every kitchen utensil or tool was available. The washing machine and dryer were very convenient. The only slightly negative thing was that we couldn't get the hot tub to work. Other wise the house was amazing

Lee's Retreat was clean, in a beautiful gated community. The house is stocked with everything you can imagine in the kitchen. The pool and spa is a great place to relax and enjoy family. I recommend paying the fee to heat the pool if staying in the winter. In the morning, grab a coffee and sit on the master bedroom balcony, the quietness and serene feeling is the best. Definitely will be staying again. Rental agents were super easy to get ahold of and so nice!!

Lee’s Retreat is the Bee’s knees. The amenities provided all we needed for a staycation while on vacation. It was like being home but on vacation. The beach was nearby and shopping was no more than 10 minutes away.

We stayed in Lee's Retreat for 4 days. The stay was very pleasant and the entire property was very clean. Loved our stay and would recommend for any family. Very close to beach and golf cart was very handy. Pool to ourself and very relaxing. The property manager Sandy was very nice and readily available for any questions. Our family stayed in this lovely home for fall break. We enjoyed the common areas, and we loved the outdoor pool and spa . The community amenities are also nice, and my boys enjoyed the gym and basketball court. I was worried about not being on the beach, but with the golf cart, it was a 3-minute drive and we parked right by the walkway with no problems each day, making for a super easy trek with the chairs and cooler. There was an issue with the hot tub one day, but someone came to fix it within a few hours. If you like to cook, this is a great kitchen. There are plenty of restaurants with outdoor dining nearby, and GrubHub was great, too. We will stay here again.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Lee's Retreat! The house fit our three families comfortably with plenty of extra space! We used the large pool daily and loved the tanning ledge! The covered patio was great with plenty of outdoor seating and fans to keep you cool. A review below mentioned the pool lights didn't work but they worked fine for us. The kitchen was large and was well-equipped. There is a stand alone ice maker and the freezer also makes ice which was really nice. There is also a fridge in the garage for extra storage. The garage was large enough that we were able to park two additional golf carts in the garage along with the house golf cart. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. The Destin Getaways staff were helpful, very nice, and communicated well with us. We'd love to stay at Lee's Retreat again!

Nice house. Pool much smaller than picture makes it look but was fine. Well equipped kitchen. For price was disappointed ice maker was broken and we had to go buy ice daily.

Great house for large Family

We loved this house, especially the pool and covered patio. The great room handled a large family easily with plenty of dining seating. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Overall cleanliness was good for a rental property. Beds are comfortable. The fountain in front courtyard was broken and gross- needs repair. The beach is a long walk, but the golf cart helps. They could add a garage opener or keypad. It would be nice if more paper and soap supplies were provided at this price point. Linens were good. We would rent this property again.

We were in Destin for our wedding March 13th-17th and stayed at Lee's Retreat. We had 11 family members staying here and there was plenty of room for everyone. The setup of the house was great and worked really well for all of our needs. The pictures and description of the house online were pretty much spot on. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. You do need to bring trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. The washer and dryer were nice with so many people in the house and lots of clothes to wash. We had the pool heated and that was a plus since the temperature was in the low 60's while we were there. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only negative...the pool lights didn't work. Everything else about this place is amazing. I totally recommend this house and I know we will be back.
