Description

Tides of Tops's 1008 is the perfect beachfront condo conveniently located on the 10th floor. The newer renovated kitchen is equipped to make great meals and is updated with stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry, granite countertops, and a raised breakfast bar. The dining table seats 4 people very comfortably. In the living room, there is a large flat screen HDTV across from comfortable sofas to sprawl out on. Lounge, eat, and kick back on your own private balcony day or night – accessible from the living room.

The master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed to dive into, and an en-suite bathroom containing a walk-in shower with a dual vanity.

The guest bedroom has 2 beds, one full-size bed and one twin-size bed and cozy closet space. The guest bathroom has two entries from the hallway and one from the guest bedroom.

TOPS'L is a tranquil beach and racquet resort located in Miramar Beach, South Walton just 10 miles east of Destin, in the Miramar Beach area of Northwest Florida. It offers the peace of a location off the beaten path, while still having the conveniences of city attractions just a few minutes' drive away. Situated on 52 private acres, this full-service resort is bordered by the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and a nature preserve-so without ever getting in the car, guests here can choose from beach fun, tennis time or outdoor recreation exploring the area's natural beauty.

To begin your stay:
Starter packs including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, shampoos, and laundry detergent are provided. Depending on your length of stay, please plan accordingly as you will be required to replenish these items yourself.

Effective January 1, 2023 Tops'l Beach and Racquet Resort's Master Association charges a $38 guest registration fee to all guests.
All of our vacation properties are FAMILY RENTALS ONLY. NO units will be rented to vacationing students or young adults (under 25) unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. We do not rent to chaperoned groups. A parent must be staying in the unit at all times. Our rental units are monitored for violation of this policy. All violators will be evicted with all rental payments being forfeited and additional charges will be applied. Reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed. This policy includes reservations made by parents who do not check-in and/or leave overnight during the stay. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Overall we had a wonderful time staying at the Tides. The rental felt like a home and not just a hotel room. The property also had miniature golf and other recreational spaces with equipment to use. It was easy to acquire chairs with umbrellas for beach sitting. Views from our balcony of the Gulf was spectacular. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to relax by ocean, however we had one disappointment. We would have given this property all 5’s in every category had it not been for the very disappointing appearance of our balcony as we entered our room. The cushions on the large settee grouping were jumbled and tossed all over the place and they had large black markings and handprints on them. That was not a welcoming look at all. We never felt comfortable using any of the cushioned furniture, we never touched it, and we left it all exactly as we found it. We tried to notify 3 different people of the issue but nothing was done to clean the furniture while we were there. Fortunately the balcony had two wooden rocking chairs and that’s all we used. Other than the appearance of the balcony upon our arrival with the jumbled dirty cushions on the furniture and which looked nothing like the advertised picture, everything else about the property was nice, clean, comfortable and looked welcoming.

Perfect location, very close to the beach with easy access. The only negative I have is there was no hot tub on location, my wife was looking forward to that. The unit had everything we needed. We will definitely be back, my wife is already planning the trip.

The location of this Condo is outstanding in my opinion because it's right on the best beach in Florida. Very close to great restaurants. The condo itself was well decorated and furnished. Great master shower. The absolute only complaint I have is in the quality of mattresses and pillows. Otherwise everything was amazing.

The condo was in great condition. The location was perfect - near the end of Miramar Beach. Quiet and not crowded. Mini golf, shuffleboard, and tennis were great included amenities at the resort. The pool and on site restaurant were wonderful as well. This unit has a side view of the Gulf which was good for us because we did not hear any of the pool noise that a front facing unit might have. The balcony is HUGE!!!

We were very pleased with our recent stay! We loved the true resort feel! The facility was spotless! The room was so nice, clean, updated and spacious! The amenities were great. We enjoyed the pool restaurant and bar. The code to get into and out of the pool area was a bit obsessive and only worked part of the time, but it’s ok. We hope to be back next year!!

My family and I booked this rental for Spring Break and we were not disappointed. The description and pictures were a perfect representation of the unit.

I was concerned about the cleanliness of the condo given the new pandemic world we live in. I did not have to be. The place smelled clean and was spotless. The LR and bedrooms were spacious. The balcony was large with a lovely view of the beach (though it was angled). The kitchen itself is tight, but we made do.

The building is steps from the beach and also has 2 pools. We mainly went to the beach. They also have basketball and tennis courts.

Everyone we encountered were super nice. We would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this unit.

Clean unit. Well stocked (mostly.....would’ve been nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper, and there was a coffee maker but no pot. Otherwise, absolutely fine). Balcony and view were exceptional. Beds were comfy. AC was strong. Great kitchen, dining and family area. I’d go back.
