Vista Marina is a classic three-bedroom home located on Holiday Isle in Destin. Vista Marina provides everything you need for your family vacation.

Come spend your days relaxing in this spacious home with spectacular amenities. Vista Marina has a special charm that you will instantly fall in love with. Large windows give a spectacular view of the canal from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen and dining room are perfect for a large family to sit around and catch up while cooking your favorite family meal. The kitchen has updated appliances with the stove top located on the island perfect for preparing a cooked meal. The large living room features a mounted flat screen T.V. and access to one of many large decks.

The Master bedroom features a king bed and spectacular Master Bathroom. The bathroom has a large built in Jacuzzi tub, this is something you just don't see anymore but is still a luxury to have. The bathroom features his and her sinks with a stand up shower. The second guest bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom. This bedroom is located just off entering the home. Right off the entry into the main living area are stairs down to the third bedroom. This bedroom features a bunk bed with a twin over a full plus a twin trundle and full private bathroom.

The real show stopper is the pool area. Vista Marina features a very nice pool deck with a grill and counter tops. The pool is extremely big for being a private home pool. This area would be perfect to host a wedding or low key special event. The view of the canal and the pool area is perfect to bask in the Florida sun. Just off the pool area is a covered lounging area with a shower and bathroom. Perfect so you do not have to enter the home to rinse off any beach sand.

What could make this house any better? The boat slip! There are two boat slips for this home. Crab Island is only a short trip away. Getting to the Gulf has never been easier for you. **You cannot park a trailer at this property, please find arrangements for your trailer before arrival** The boat slip is 8ft wide. The seawall is also available with no length limit.

All of our vacation properties are FAMILY RENTALS ONLY. NO units will be rented to vacationing students or young adults (under 25) unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. We do not rent to chaperoned groups. A parent must be staying in the unit at all times. Our rental units are monitored for violation of this policy. All violators will be evicted with all rental payments being forfeited and additional charges will be applied. Reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed. This policy includes reservations made by parents who do not check-in and/or who leave overnight during the length of the stay. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Other things to note: Starter packs including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, shampoos, and laundry detergent are provided. Depending on your length of stay, please plan accordingly as you will be required to replenish these items yourself.

Beautiful home with Canal view

Home may be a little outdated but was still beautiful.Very roomy. We saw stingrays and fish in the canal. Beach was a close 2 t0 3 blocks. No need for golf cart as you can’t really drive it anywhere. Pool was dirty. Someone was suppose to clean it twice while we were there. They never did. Fountain didn’t work. Deck is very loose boards and rails. No book on procedures, restaurants, activities or how to work things, unlike previous properties we had stayed at. Beach access code didn’t work but Elizabeth was great and got us the right code and answered promptly to our text questions anytime.

Great house with good layout for family and friends... most of time spend in large open floor plan and at pool.. we picked it because of the pool and outdoor kitchen, knowing the the interiors are old.

Definitely very dated amd repairs are baindaided, but I felt it was priced fine for the rental because of the amenities.

We had a great time. The house was very nice and we had plenty of space for our 3 families. The kids loved the pool and fishing off the dock. The guys loved using the outdoor kitchen. The only suggestions that I have are to put 2 trash cans in the kitchen for garbage and recycling plus we could not find a broom to sweep up the sand (we used the duster and vacuum). The location to the beach was awesome but we did not get a key fob to scan at the beach gate (we had to keep calling to get a code). Overall our experience was great and we would gladly come back.

We all had a wonderful time at this place. The docking was phenomenal and the pool was great. Other then some general maintenance I would highly recommend to others and we are looking forward to staying here again next year.

We stayed a week at Vista Marina. It was very comfortable, a little dated, but overall a very nice week. The carpet needs to be replaced, and the guest bedroom tub drain is slow, and it could use a toaster in the kitchen.

Great Location. Great for a boat. Second year staying here. Only complaint would be to please fix the second boat dock (not a big deal) and please get some outdoor furniture for the deck up top so that awesome space can be utilized. Otherwise the parking is great, the location is awesome, and accommodations are nice too. House interior is a bit outdated, but that didn’t really bother us. Pool and outdoor area nice and private. Will definitely stay here again.

We have been staying in Destin for the past 6 years in different locations each time. This place was very nice and we have already rented it for next year. There were a few things that needed attention when we arrived and when I called Destin Getaways they took care of it right away. Some things are dated but we could see where the owner is trying to update many things and they are nice updates like new furniture and beds. The kitchen cooking pans and utensils would be the next thing that would be nice to have updated. There was not enough cooking pans and such for a larger group, but we made due with what was there.
The third bedroom is on the first floor by the garage, but the wife and I stayed there which was nice a quiet away from our adult children which like to stay up sometimes later than us.
The pool was awesome and we enjoyed it daily. It is nice the pool area has its own bathroom right next to the pool.
The location is perfect for us since we have Hobie Kayaks and like to use them every day to go out to the Pass to fish. We were able to put our kayaks in the water right at the house and stored our small kayak trailer in the garage. A large boat trailer would not fit just if anyone was wondering.
The house is older, but is very nice and very large in size. We had 6 adults staying at the house and had a small get togethers by the pool since we were there for our son's wedding. We had about 30 people come down for the wedding and had about half over one evening and grilled burgers out by the pool. The grill at the pool is older but worked just fine and is large so you can cook many burgers at one time.
I just want to thank Sandi from Destin Getaways for making our stay enjoyable and taking care of anything when we called. She was very good about returning all calls back to us when she said she would. We have used several other rental companies when we have stayed in Destin and Destin Getaways has been the best thus far. We will use De

Everything perfect. 5 minutes walk to the perfect beach, white sand, blue-green warm water. In the house you have everything, only the room downstairs is a little bit dark. But for 4-5 People the house is perfect. Friendly managment with a quickly Service. Pool is big enough. House is in a quiet area, perfect to relax. Next Shopping mall with Supermarket only 3 minutes by car. Restaurants every where. I recommend to book this house

We love Holiday Isle in Destin so the house was perfect for us. The dock was perfect for our boat.
House was very, very spacious inside and outside. House was somewhat dated but really didn't matter - (something that can be overlooked by most) Pool are was beautiful and clean. Fun family house !

The home and property were outstanding. At 67 I have never stayed in a property with our own pool. The canal was breathtaking. The house is on so much property and only a block from the beach. We will never forget this vacation ‘

Perfect setup for those who love to fish in the Gulf or lay by the pool or just lay out and read. Loved it all. Thanks for sharing. Only issue(s) 1) downstairs twin mattresses were poor and my wife ended up at the pharmacy for pain relief for her back and hips 2) we signed a contract to park trailer offsite, as we were backing out with it the neighbor across the street said “it’s fine,leave it and get a pass”! $200.00 later (a fine) we had to pay! Neighbor misinformed us BIG time! Still a great stay

The property is in a great location! However, the furniture and bathrooms are dated. The house smelled like mothballs when we first arrived.

What a wonderful older home and beautiful property! The view of the canal was a bonus! Conveniently located a block from the beach yet away from the noisy/busy commercial shopping strip.
Shopping, restaurants, and pier were very close.
Only negatives were pool heater was broken which was needed for late March (but we got discounted price), master suite was a little outdated, could use a sleeper sofa in family room or a bed in small bonus room, no gate pass was provided to access the beach (had to walk thru another homeowner's property), refrigerator made very little ice daily (had to buy ice bags from nearby gas station), and the grille was far distance from kitchen.
Still would recommend to anyone and even consider another stay!

The place is really nice. The deck and everything is much bigger than it looks in the pics.

The toiletries and things like that aren't stocked so prepare to go buy, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. There was only one roll in the bathrooms.
All the neighboring houses are residential so the neighbors complain alot. a kid popped a balloon and the neighbor called the police complaining of fireworks.
But overall great place! good experience!
